We were looking for a place to stay to be able to hike Wheelers Peak. This was the perfect location. We were within walking distance to the stores and restaurants. The property was very clean and quiet. We had our dogs with us and it worked perfectly. We would love to come back in winter and stay here again
The rental was good. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The lighting was inadequate for reading in the evening. The knives for cooking were unusable, had to use steak knives for cutting vegetables.
Place was a little funky but it served its purpose! Forest was a very pleasant man who took care of us. It is close to the lifts and once you figure out the ski back trail it’s even closer. Would stay again. Bring your own knives if you plan on doing extensive cooking.
