Luxurious private gite with pool, terrace, large gardens, golf simulator and gym
Set in private grounds, our exclusive gite offers guests a tranquil holiday in a beautiful converted stone barn offering every comfort. The gite is not overlooked by the main house and you will not be sharing the facilities with any other guests. So whether you choose to start your day with coffee by the heated pool, play a few holes on the golf simulator, work out in the gym, play petanque or stroll around the large enclosed gardens and private woods, you are assured of a peaceful holiday that you will not want to end.
The gite features uplit walls, a balustrade overlooking the lounge and even a feature well in the dining area. The fully equipped kitchen has every amenity including a dishwasher, blender and bean to cup coffee machine. The lounge/dining area features a beautiful French dining table, big comfy couch in the lounge and a Samsung 50" smart tv with French channels, plus Netflix and Amazon movies and an antique Godin log burner.
You have a choice of terraces, one outside the gite and the other located by the pool next to the outdoor BBQ and opposite the wood-fired pizza oven. This area is surrounded by hanging vines that provide shelter from the sun and makes it beautiful during the day and stunning at night as you dine by the pool, lit by hanging lights. Smoking is allowed in all outdoor areas.
Wi-Fi and Alexa is available throughout the property including the kitchen, bedroom, gym, golf simulator and by the pool. The Petanque area is located by the pool and 2 electric mountain bikes are also available to explore the surrounding countryside. All equipment including golf is provided free of charge. We are also normally available onsite if you require any help or assistance during your stay.

Peter and Laura's dream was to live in France. After viewing several properties, we came across our house and were blown away. As you come round the corner from the long drive, there are stunning gardens, courtyard and vines overhanging the seating area by the pool. The house had been renovated with no expense spared and is stunning in every detail. All our guests have said this is one of the most beautiful places to stay - so, based on this feedback, we decided to convert our small barn opposite the main house into an independent gite to the same high standard.
Peter still works as a business lecturer to the PGA and consultant, advising clients how to provide the very best in customer service and enhance the customer experience. So, rest assured you are guaranteed a holiday where attention to detail, service and the feeling of being welcome will be one of the best you have ever experienced.

Why they chose this property
The gite has been converted to look and feel the same as the main house, with beautiful cottage doors, stone walls, uplit walls and beams throughout. It also has a well feature in the dining area that is lit up behind glass. The gite is located by the pool opposite the main house (not overlooked) and orchard. It is a fabulous setting that will not disappoint.
What makes this property unique
During your stay, you will have exclusive use of all the amazing facilities, including the pool, indoor golf simulator, gymnasium, Petanque, large gardens and woodland. Darts are also available in the gym and we can also organise target practice in the woods with an air rifle.
Alternatively, just sip a glass of wine and relax by the pool reading your favourite book or listening to music through our poolside Alexa. The choice is yours!
