The property is large and was, for the most part, as described. While it sleeps 25 people, the kitchen was not equipped to serve that many people. There were not enough dishes, cups, forks, spoons, etc. for all of our guests to dine at once. We were constantly washing cups and forks or purchasing disposables. The kitchen also did not include standard items to prepare food (i.e. grater, baking pans, etc.). We went out and purchased several things that we've now "donated" to the property.
There were a few things that didn't quite sit right throughout our stay. On the 1st night, the owner came at 9pm and asked us to move our car from the driveway as he would need access to his garage throughout the stay. He continued to be in the garage on most evenings. On the same night, someone knocked on the door at 10pm looking for the owner. He made it sound as if the owner was expecting him and showed us text messages directing us to the home. It all felt a bit strange.
All in all, we enjoyed our family reunion at the property but would recommend better equipping the kitchen and making the property more exclusively available to guests.
