Great location

Great location for family to unwind together with short walk to the beach and wooded area which was great for dog walks. Property was a good size for 8 adults and 2 dogs. Could do with a bit of TLC, few items were broken or unserviceable, ie sunlounges, pool table (warped), radiator not working. Lighting was hard to read by, but cosy. Not as clean as we would expect, Sheets had a stain on one bed and parts of the garden required attention. A warning about mosquitos would be useful, not sure if this was just the time of year we went. Pool was a great bonus, heated but only to 26 degrees and not adjustable, which would be ok at the height of summer but not all year round. Host was accessible via message through VRBO and was able to instruct how to turn the heating on when we had a few chilly nights. Would be useful to provide a folder of information about the property and surrounding areas. Places to visit and places to eat, Police, Pharmacy, Town hall etc. Overall we had a lovely family holiday and would return due to the location.

Belles vacances

Jolie maison de caractère , pas loin de plage. Tres comfortable, bien equipée. Le jardin et la piscine superbes ! Tres bon contact avec la propriétaire A recommander !

Séjour en famille dans une maison pleine de charme

La maison est pleine de charme, proche de la mer. La plage de Vertbois est d’ailleurs très sauvage, magnifique! Je recommande chaudement le logement !

Lovely family holiday

We had a great family holiday. The house was lovely and large and the swimming pool, table tennis and pool table was used a lot!! With a beach within walking distance. Would recommend.

Tout simplement PARFAIT!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette immense villa. De part son immensité, son juste milieu entre le charme de l'ancien et le confort et la modernité d'aujourd'hui. Tout a été penser et fait pour que les vacanciers soient accueillis dans les meilleures conditions. Avec mon mari et mes enfants, nous avons vraiment passé de super moments dans un cadre très agréable. Mes enfants étaient comblé de joie avec toujours quelque chose à faire. La propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeante. Nous avons déjà prévu d'y retourner. Je recommande à 2000%!!!

Komfortables Haus in wunderschöner Lage mit tollem Garten und Pool

Wir haben einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbracht. Die Lage im waldreichen "vert-bois" ist ideal: Die schönen und lebhaften Orte wie Le Château d'Oléron und La Cotinière, aber auch das Festland (Tipp: die Gillardeau-Austern direkt hinter dem Viaduc sind ein Muss!) sind in wenigen Minuten mit Fahrrad oder Auto zu erreichen. Der Strand ist fußläufig und bietet sowohl bewirtschaftete als auch ruhige Abschnitte. Von der Straße vor dem Haus hört man im großen Garten gar nichts. Das Haus ist sehr groß und bietet alles, was man braucht. Von Küche über Gasgrill bis zum großen Wohnzimmer mit Billardtisch ist alles vorhanden. Es gibt eine große Terrasse am Haus, die von Wohnzimmer, Küche und einem Schlafzimmer aus zugänglich ist. Das Highlight ist der riesige und sehr warme Pool im großen Garten, mit schöner Liegeterrasse. Tipp für Abends: Mückenschutz nicht vergessen! Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett, der Check-In und Check-Out unkompliziert und wir können das Haus nur bestens empfehlen!

Beaucoup de charme

Belle maison, avec le charme de l ancien, les meubles de famille, les bouquins, beau terrain arboré et piscine. Pas de meuble pour ranger ses vêtements dans l une des chambres. Vaisselle vieillotte. Maison sur la route pas de trottoir et entrée un peu compliquée. Globalement très satisfaite le lieu étant vraiment très charmant

bonne experience

belle maison, jardin et piscine parfaits, il y a de la place mais ce n'est pas propre et il n'y a pas de penderie, donc impossible d'accrocher des cintres ! On est 900 m de la mer mais à 3-4 km des commerçants.

Wir haben Anfang September einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier verbracht. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, ein sehr schöner Strand ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Wir haben mit Freunden geurlaubt (insges. 4 Personen) und das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz. Wir haben die Schlafzimmer zum Garten hin benutzt, es ist wunderbar ruhig. Trotz schönen Wetters haben wir täglich den Pool genutzt. Netter persönlicher Kontakt zur sehr sympathischen Vermieterin! Gerne empfehlen wir dieses Haus weiter! ————————————————- Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances ici au début du mois de septembre. La maison est conforme à la description, une très belle plage est accessible à pied. Nous avons séjourné avec des amis (4 personnes au total) et la maison offre beaucoup d'espace. Nous avons utilisé les chambres donnant sur le jardin, c'est merveilleusement calme. Malgré le beau temps, nous avons utilisé la piscine tous les jours. Un contact personnel agréable avec la propriétaire très sympathique ! Nous serions heureux de recommander cette maison !

Oléron les pieds dans l'eau!

Très jolie villa proche de la forêt et de la plage, des beaux volumes pour être à l'aise à 8 personnes et un chien! La grande piscine est magnifique, la terrasse et le jardin très agréables. Merci à la propriétaire sympathique et très disponible, un petit bémol, vu avec elle, pour une des chambres côté rue passante, pas de double vitrage occasionnant des nuits difficiles... Cependant je recommande cette location où nous avons passé un superbe séjour.

Entspannter Urlaub in französischer Villa

Tolles französisches Landhaus mit Stil auf einem riesigen Grundstück, inkl. beheiztem Pool, Volleyballfeld, Billard, Tischtennis, ... Wir hätten problemlos 2 Wochen auf dem Grundstück verbringen können, ohne uns zu langweilen. Ansonsten erreicht man das Meer und den tollen, weiten Strand zu Fuß in ca. 10 min. Perfekt !!! Gerne wieder !!!

Jolie maison pour des vacances en famille

Maison très agréable, lumineuse et bien équipée. Le jardin est bien paysagé, grand et entièrement clos, idéal pour les animaux de compagnie. La piscine est grande et chauffée. Très bonne relation de confiance avec la propriétaire. L'étage mériterait un rafraîchissement. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'île d'Oléron et recommandons cette location.

Agréable séjour

Maison très appréciable située à côté de la plage. Grand jardin au calme avec équipements pour les enfants et une piscine chauffée au top. La propriétaire est très accueillante. Je recommande !

Inoubliable Île d'Oleron

Rapport qualité prix rien à dire, la maison est très spacieuse et chacun trouve sa place. L'accueil de Mme Fesseau est très agréable, elle explique bien tout ce qu'il y a à savoir sans s'incruster longtemps. La plage non loin de la maison est correcte, nous regrettons juste de ne pas pouvoir y aller à pied car pas de trottoirs et donc très dangereux avec petit enfant. C'est le seul mauvais point, pour notre part, à cet endroit. Nous recommandons cette maison à nos proches.

Maison très agréable

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end entre amis, la maison est spacieuse et lumineuse malgré notre séjour en novembre. Nous essayerons de revenir en été pour profiter pleinement de la terrasse et du beau jardin.

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine fin octobre, en famille avec chien. Villa très bien décorée et bien fournie, proche de la plage. Juste un bémol sur le bruit de la route qui passe devant la propriété, mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment gênés. Adresse à recommander.
