Located in a private gated community, this townhome is just a few steps from the tennis courts and between the two community pools; one seasonally heated and one with a hot tub and kiddie pool. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available during the Spring to Fall beach seasons. The lovely Mainsail community also has a game room, a fitness center, shuffleboard courts and a basketball court. Enjoy a family barbecue with the grilling area or simply soak up the sun on the pool decks.

This great community is in the perfect location at the East end of Scenic Highway 98, just across from the Silver Sands Premium Outlets. All vehicles must be registered with the onsite security please be sure to provide this information prior to your arrival.

We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.


Property rules state: no RV's or trailers of any kind are allowed to be parked in the community parking area. Please call us to arrange off site parking if you are bringing a trailer or RV.

Some parts were nice. Carpet was extremely stained, dirty, and in need of replacement. Easy walk to the beach. Would have been nice if we were informed of the heated pool being closed for construction as that was the main reason we chose this place. In addition to having a normal owners closest they locked 2 other closest including the pantry so there is nowhere to store your food.

Marimar Condo
This unit had a great location to the beach and the condo pools. That being said we did have some issues. The AC and fridge ran, not quiet, almost all the time. All the fan blades in the condo had dust buildup on them. The living room fan needs to be replaced as looks like its going to fall from the ceiling when in use. Speaking of fans, both sets of bunk beds had fans directly over them. There was maybe 5 inches between top bunk and blades, making top bunk not useable. Neither room that the bunks were in had a AC vent in them. So cant use fan and no vent made room to hot to sleep in. 2nd bedroom upstairs really needs either a blackout curtain or a heavier curtain on the patio door to keep out the heat and sun. Lastly, the bunk beds and the coaches need to be vacuumed under. This is an older unit and just needs some tlc to bring it up to date.

We have stayed at Mainsail before so we like the location. This townhouse was in need of repair to the bathroom shower tiles in both of larger bathrooms, the kitchen is way past upgrading, also living room couches had covers that don’t fit well and were not cleaned under-we had to vacuum before we could use them. Also the bunk room that counts as third bedroom doesn’t have an air vent and was hot all the time. Dryer took 3 rounds to dry each load .Expected better for the price.

We were a family of seven visiting Miramar beach. This is our third time to this area. Mainsail is a very nice complex with beautiful beaches, two pools, one heated. Property was great. Townhouse 6 was just ok. The upstairs bathroom outlets did not work. The furniture in living room especially the couches and chair could be replaced, they look old and dirty. The carpet upstairs also looked dirty and walls going upstairs looked dirty as well. I don't need fancy but do need clean. For a significant amount per night I think the place could have been cleaner. The dryer also never fully dried anything, we had better luck hanging laundry in the sun to dry. Again love Miramar Beach and Destin, but would not stay in Townhouse 6.

Great location but unit needs updated
Mainsail is a nice property, beach is less crowded because there are no highrises around. Unit itself needs updated. Carpet is old and shaggy, kitchen needs an update as well. Decor, of course a matter of taste, full of mermaid and bird figurines and plastic plants. 2 master suites with King beds and updated bathrooms. However, be aware that there are 3 sets of bunk beds. One is stuck in a tiny space that is no more than a closet with window, one is on the hallway between the 2 bedroom suites and the beds there are toddler-sized, and one is downstairs in the laundry room. Yes, with the old, old washer and dryer.

Mainsail townhome
Plenty of sleeping. Newman Dailey was extremely responsive to contact while at the property. One small problem arose and they sprang into action to correct. This problem was not their fault but they stepped up to the plate to hit it out of the park. Would I recommend staying with a Newman Dailey managed property? Short answer is YES! Would I stay at Mainsail again? Probably. Getting in and out of the property is a little tough because of the amount of traffic the week we were visiting coupled with the road construction going on, it closed half the lanes. But it was doable so. Beach was nice. Covered parking at unit. Also covered parking garage just a very short walk away for extra vehicles. Only downside to the unit was the dryer doesn’t dry very well. Had to run the clothes thru two to three times. Unit was very clean. Super quiet, gated community that’s very well taken care of. Furniture is in good condition. Plenty of pot and pans, even a crock pot so that you can cook while enjoying the beach that’s a short walk away. Pool area is well kept. We enjoyed swimming in both the gulf and the pool as Hurricane Delta way way in the middle of the gulf was making the waves a little too big for our grandson. So thankful that a pool was available to still enjoy the day.

I loved this property . I would stay again & again . Everything was clean & spacious. I locked my self out and left my cellphone in the unit. The reply back was quick and fast with no problem to get my phone, I will be back soon!!!!
