Driftwood Beachfront is arguably the best location on the bay. Situated in the sleepy beachside village of Vincentia, with a rare northerly aspect that takes full advantage of the morning sun, Driftwood is a real gem of the bay. This house is in the perfect location for all weather conditions, being tucked in behind the majestic gums that provide protection from the prevailing North East winds. The majority of beach front houses in Vincentia are open to the full brunt of the NE winds.
The pristine aqua-blue waters await your morning swims with the dolphins and turtles, closely followed by a relaxing stroll along the white sands of the Jervis Bay beaches. This incredibly convenient location is no more than a five minute walk to Vincentia cafes and Coles Supermarket. The bicycle path is at the front door which provides a safe cycling experience for the family away from the dangers of holiday traffic. To the left it will lead you to Huskisson (10 mins) and Woolamia (20 mins) and to the right around to Plantation Point (5 mins) and beyond. By car Huskisson is a stone's throw...5min drive.
Directly across the road is a park fitted with play equipment for the kids and plenty of shade to lay down and relax.
We pride ourselves on the fact that Driftwood Beachfront is an immaculately tidy house with everything you could need for an enjoyable stay. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and ready for anything you can throw at it. It contains an oven with grill, large fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
The lounge room includes two large sofas, each with a chaise, and a large LCD TV. The main living area has reverse cycle air conditioning.
There is a laundry that contains a washing machine and dryer as well as a toilet andshower. Bathroom 1 upstairs contains a shower, toilet and vanity while bathroom two is an ensuite that also contains a shower, toilet and vanity.
Four Bedrooms
Bedroom 1 is the Master bedroom with ensuite. It is located upstairs and boasts breath- taking views out of the mirror tinted glass sliding doors. It has a super comfy Queen bed with two bedside tables and lamps along with a large built-in wardrobe. The glass sliding doors open up onto a large balcony overlooking the Bay.
Bedroom 2 is also located upstairs and has a super comfy Queen bed with two bedside tables and lamps. This room also has a large built-in wardrobe. Like Bedroom 1, the mirror tinted glass sliding doors open up onto the balcony providing sweeping views of Jervis Bay.
Bedroom 3 is a smaller bedroom also located upstairs. It has a Queen bed with two bedside tables and lamps and a small built-in wardrobe.
Bedroom 4 is the kids domain. It contains two double bunks and a daybed. There is a TV to keep the kids entertained and out of your hair when you need a break.
Other things to note
Linen
The advertised price is a discounted price for guests who are happy to bring their own sheet sets and towels. If you would prefer to hire linen and have your beds made up this can be arrange for $25 per bed (including bath towels). Please note that this property is fully self-contained, however it is not a serviced property. Servicing can be arranged during your stay at an extra charge.
Pet Friendly
A number of the beaches inside Jervis Bay are pet friendly so it is a great place to bring them.
We are the proud owners of a beautiful beagle and hate leaving her behind on our holidays, this is why we are happy to provide pet friendly accommodation. The back yard is fully fenced to contain your pet , however, the beachfront yard has a lower fence that dogs can jump over.We do ask that you be responsible for your pets messes and clean up after them. We also ask that they stay off the lounges and the beds. Any pet hair found on the furniture will incur an extra cleaning fee of $100 per piece of furniture. Please bring a bed for your pet.
We have a strict 'no smoking' policy inside the house.
Noise and Disturbance to our Neighbours
Please be mindful that many of our neighbours are permanent residents and it is very important to us that guests have minimal impact on their peace and enjoyment of their homes.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited will not be tolerated at any time. Noise means any sound that can be heard from neighbouring properties that disturbs their peace and quiet. All music must be turned off by 10pm and care taken when you are outside.
Please respect and preserve the residential amenity of the property and refrain from engaging in any drunken, obscene or antisocial behaviour. If Security personnel or the Police are called to a noise complaint a charge of $500 will be payable and you will be evicted immediately. If a booking is terminated in accordance with the provisions of this clause, no refund of rent or security deposit will be given, and you agree that any such rent or bond withheld is genuine compensation for loss occasioned by you.
