The Cabin:
Four Bedrooms / Two full baths. Sleeps 9. Stone Fireplace. Large covered porch. Great game room with Ping Pong, Air Hockey, foosball and 65” TV. Free access to Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and YouTube TV. Large yard with Fire Pit.

What we Love:
One of the best things about the cabin is the large walk out basement that we turned into a game room / kids paradise. Large 65" TV for watching movies, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, board games, and a bunk bed room. Kids love the privacy and fun, while parents love having a quiet adult space on the main level. Everyone is happy!

The Property:
Quietness! We know you'll agree that the location is Amazing. Set back in a quiet area that backs to the woods, but just five minutes away from restaurants, breweries, shopping, hiking and waterfalls. Just sit on the front porch swing and look out at the Mountain View with a morning cup of coffee. At night choose from a wood fire pit in the yard, or relax on our back deck next to the gas fire under the string lights with a glass of wine. So close to everything but yet a world away!

We love exploring the area and keep coming back again and again to find new things to see and do. We know you’ll love it too!

Great Location for a Mountain Escape

Our family had a wonderful two-week getaway at this cabin. We were just a couple minutes drive away from both Boone and Blowing Rock, so we were able to see many sights around the area.

Perfection!

We had an amazing time at the cabin! The location was perfect for us. It was about 10 minutes to App Ski Mountain and close to downtown Blowing Rock. We really appreciated how well-stocked the cabin was! They had all the little that many rentals don't, including spices, aluminum foil, baggies, storage containers, cooking spray, olive oil, salt and pepper etc. They literally had everything! We had a blast playing ping pong, air hockey and foosball! The reading nook and library were also stellar. We'll be back!

Another great stay!

This is our third year in a row at the Blowing Rock Cabin. The amenities, location and price can't be beat. It's a spacious property while still retaining its coziness. We recommend the cabin very highly!

Best Location

This cabin has the best location and is very comfortable. This is our second year back and we are about to book our third. Tony really cares about his guests and their experience. Thanks for another memorable stay!

Great location!

We stayed for a few days over spring break and had a great time! Weather was awesome. Kids loved all the indoor and outdoor game options and the big lawn space to be outside. Fire pits were so fun to have! Separate floor for kids to have bedroom/TV space made it extra fun for them. Owner checked in a few times to make sure everything was working good. Close to downtown area and hiking.

Blowing Rock Cabin Extreme

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location provided us with easy access to the shops in Blowing Rock and close to Appalachian State for Graduation and Commissioning Ceremonies. The Cabin was over the top in providing us with everything we needed. We are planning our next visit as we speak.

Fabulous location!!

This cabin is in a fabulous location - less than 10 min to Blowing Rock or Appalachian Ski Mountain, and only a little further to Boone. We were able to enjoy our vacation without spending the whole time driving (as we’ve done during prior vacations to the greater Boone area). The cabin is nice and well-stocked, and the owner is kind and very communicative!

This property met all our needs for a short family get away. Tony was very attentive and offered many suggestions for things to do. While the weather did not allow us to fully take advantage of the lovely outside, there was lots to do inside the cozy cabin.

Another great stay

We traveled to NC from TX for annual fall trip to the High Country. Unfortunately our trip was only a couple weeks after Hurricane Helene which had a big impact on much of the area. We really appreciated that Tony kept his cabin open and many businesses worked hard to maintain service soon after the event. After many years living in Houston, we know that it’s important for businesses to be allowed to operate as soon as possible to keep their livelihoods after a big weather event. Although some of the major tourist attractions we normally go to were closed , we really enjoyed spending more time going to the local restaurants and taking longer hikes into the areas that were closed off from the highway due to the storm. Hoping to be back in the future!

Weekend Getaway

Our trip consisted of two grandparents with four grandchildren aged 7-11 years of age. We did the Virgina Creeper Bike Trail along with White Water Rafting on the second day. This home provided an excellent staging point for our purposes. The property was clean and as advertized with an effective game room that complimented our stay.

Blowing Rock Cabin

Outstanding property that is close to everything in Blowing Rock. We were there with our kids and grand kids. Lawn was so perfect for them to play! House has a great vibe and super comfy beds! Loves hanging out on the front porch and the kitchen was well equipped with all you need to cook some great meals! Grill was used every night too! Tony was so easy to communicate with! Great value and location!

Christmas Weekend in Blowing Rock

We had a great time. The cabin was clean and cozy. It has everything you need. The upstairs bedroom is the nicest with more space and king bed. The bedrooms downstairs are small but served the purpose and would be fine for smaller children. We had adult children so the space felt small. The location was great - easy to get places. The fire pits outside were fun. Tony was a great host and even texted to check on us.

We rented this cabin last year and came back this year .That shows how satisfied we are . After settling in , this place feels like home . It has pretty much anything you would need . It is very well supplied . Tony is excellent in his communication . I highly recommend this rental .

Great Cabin

We had a wonderful weekend at this mountain cabin. It was just as the pictures depicted. The house was clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic, just minutes from Boone and Blowing Rock while still feeling secluded. I chose the house for all the extras, fire pit, "toys", etc. We didn't get to spend a lot of time using those amenities because of our schedule. Hopefully, next time. Homeowner was always responsive and helpful. This house goes on my save list for the future!

Great Home Base for Mountain Getaway

Fiance and I visited Blowing Rock with our kids for spring break. Six of us total. Cabin was as advertised. It was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It had everything we needed and served as a great home base for our daily excursions into the mountains. Property Manager was great to work with and checked in with us several times. Also appreciated the fact that they had left their media logins available to us. Watched a few movies and some sports during our down time and it was nice not to have to link our own accounts. Would definitely stay at the cabin again!

Amazing

This cabin was the perfect fit for our group of 7! We had two 18 year olds, three 23 year olds, 24 year old, and me 25! We enjoyed the game room downstairs the most! (I think it would be worth adding a bathroom down there!) The kitchen table was another big hangout spot for us to play card games! we used the grill to cook burgers, gas fire pit for s’mores, and done some front porch sitting to soak in the beautiful scenery! The host was amazing!! Always responded in a timely manner and even check on us through our our stay! We will definitely be back again!! 10/10 recommend!!!

Just perfect

After a long day of hiking and exploring Blowing Rock, Boone, the Blueridge PKWY, etc. the BRC was a perfect place to relax and recharge. We used it all…the rec room was fun, the porch and view were amazing, and the fire pit out front was cozy. We cooked most meals at the cabin, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots/pans, bowls, spices, and the kids loved that it had a stash of chocolate chips for our pancakes. The TVs were all easily compatible with our phones for screen pairing so we could watch our favorite soccer and hockey teams without signing in and inevitably forgetting to sign out of our accounts before leaving. Most importantly, I cannot say enough about how great Tony was as our host. He was responsive and had great suggestions for our family activities all around the area. He offered a clean, well maintained, and safe property for us to enjoy and we are so appreciative and happy to have found this gem.

We are an active family with two pre-teen girls that loves the outdoors. We love getting out to hike, and kayak, finding waterfalls and swimming holes and having lunch at one of the amazing overlooks on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We've been coming to the Blowing Rock area for about 15 years and finally found a place that we can call home. We know that you'll love the area just as much as we do and hope you come back again and again to discover new things to see and do around this incredible area.
