About this property

Older style rustic home on 11 acres with 4 acres of gardens & 7 acres of cattle raising paddocks.

Ellimatta is a very large house, & you have it all to yourselves, amid the tranquility of a rural setting, but within 15 minutes of Bundaberg Central.

There are 4 bedrooms that will sleep up to 9 people, with 2 bathrooms. We also have a large country kitchen with breakfast table, and a formal dining room with a rustic timber dining setting for 10 people. There is a lounge room wit 55" Samsung Smart TV, and a home theatre with a 110" screen and surround sound including a powered sub woofer. There is Netflix, Stan, and Prime on both devices. Between these two rooms is a gym area with a treadmill for those feeling energetic!

The large saltwater swimming pool is one of our many highlights.

IMPORTANT! We have unfenced dams and adults must be vigilant with supervision at all times.

Relaxing stay

A relaxing stay, quiet location, plenty of room in the house, as well as in the vast grounds in the middle of nature. A 15-minute drive to all the shops and tourist attractions in Bundaberg. The host was very responsive, and the caretaker was very friendly and helpful as well.

Very Good Farm house to visit !

Geoff is a kind man who is keen to show us around. He even voluntarily conducted a great & wonderful “pet snake” show to the kids. We just needed to remind our kids that wild snakes could be dangerous. Elli is a nice and helpful person. She showed us around the house and also told us everything we needed to know about it. Cleanness: the house is generally clean and well maintained (90% good), toilets are very clean. The beds are really comfy to sleep in and are well prepared. Multimedia Room : This is a real plus (with working Netflix & YouTube ):some working tips are to choose “Game” as input source in the Denon AV system. Another tip is to always choose hdmi 2 in the screen projector. The huge screen projector is a real highlight. There are loads of animals that are sure to interest the kids! Cows, Chickens & Honey Bees around. However better have insects repellent first before going around. We will be even happier if less insects (like mosquitoes)are trying to go inside the house. Lastly, during hot summer times, the 3-beds bedroom could be quite hot because it is the only room without air-conditioner. The other 3 rooms have very good air-conditions running well. Overall a comfortable farmhouse to stay.

Great family holiday

This property worked very well for us with 3 families enjoying all that was on offer. The pool was great the children loved the animals & one our one day of rain the theatre room came in very handy.

Peaceful short stay vacation

Very well maintained and clean house with everything we needed. Loved the cinema screen, pool and especially the cows. Will definitely recommend to others looking for some peace and quiet with easy access to all the sights in Bundaberg

Exceeded all expectations

Our group of six adults stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding. The house was sublime! Plenty of sleeping options, large kitchen and dining area, even a media room! There was a lovely pool area, large gardens, visiting and feeding the cows was a highlight also. Our hosts were so accommodating and welcoming, I would highly recommend!

Ellie and Geoff were fantastic hosts. Our stay at Ellimatta Farmhouse was perfect. All facilities of home, great kitchen and large dining table, big screen and wifi. The house was very clean, we felt so at home. Large property to explore, cute little calves. The pool area was lovely to sit of an afternoon, and bbq in pool area for an easy dinner. We will definitely going back to Ellimatta.

Bundy getaway

Lovely and peaceful and relaxed. I feel some things in the property need updating. Shower curtains are a pet hate so maybe new sliding door. Black stuff under mixer tap in kitchen doesn't look too good. And a few things like that would be an improvement
