Great location, if you're just looking for a spot to crash for the weekend this is in walking distance to short North and some other nice bars.4/5 due to paid parking not being in the description. just be fully transparent on all costs, please. Parking is 7 per night. Also, please get a new towel

Too small/old building
Apartment was in a good area and walkable to the short north but very small and bathroom very tiny (especially the shower); also it was cold as there are only two baseboard heating systems that you need to manually control. The bed was ok but definitely need new pillows and towels.
Its a cute room in a giant old mansion. I loved staying near the Short North, full of amazing food and shopping. A trip to Otherworld Ohio was awesome, as well.

Good place to crash
I stayed here with a few friends for four nights. The location is lovely, pretty quiet, and within walking distance of everything we wanted to get to. It was a good place to crash and keep our stuff while we were out and about. The room was well stocked with bonus amenities like an air mattress and extra blankets, which we definitely appreciated. There were a few things that put a strain on our experience.
1. I was only given check in instructions a couple of hours before I arrived, and I was not given the code to get inside the building when I initially checked in. It was night time and I was a young woman traveling alone for that night. Another tenant inside the building noticed my struggle and hesitantly let me inside as I was trying to contact the host. Not a fun moment.
2. The shower walls are covered in mildew and there was hair on the shower floor on first use. Everything else in the room was clean, but this was just unacceptable.
3. You couldn't have anyone else other than the people explicitly named on the rental inside the building, according to the owner's insurance policies. I understand not wanting us sneaking in another person to stay the night, but there were multiple times where we couldn't have someone come in with us while we grabbed our stuff because we didn't want to risk the penalty fee. We felt kind of at the mercy of the rules, since we were intent on not breaking them.
Overall, it's alright. Getting past the few hiccups, there's a lot of charm.
Bed sheets and blankets were not cleaned. Bathroom was disgusting. Dirt and stuff everywhere on the floors. There was food and crumbs in the bed when we pulled the sheets back. We felt gross over all just being there. We would like some money back.
The communication between the property manager and myself wash was not the best. I had to reach out to him day of to get the check in instructions and then he asked for my drivers license and told me I had to pay separately for parking which was not in the listing. The apartment was dirty based on the cameras in the hallway, it felt like you were being watched all the time.
A well appointed bijou studio. Situated in the heart and groovy soul of the leafy, historical Victorian Village neighbourhood in Columbus. Very comfortable space with every amenity one could need. Also, very responsive and flexible hosts. Will return.
Great apartment for 1-2 people, especially if you’re there for something at the medical campus - easy and pretty 15 min walk.
Well-appointed and clean apartment. Also, walking distance to 2 grocery stores, if you’re planning on cooking in for some meals.
After just reading the prior reviews, I am realizing that my issue at checkin seems like a chronic problem that the owner needs to address. I never received the instructions and had to request them. At that time I was told I had to provide photos of my license plate and ID. Also the checkin time provided in the instructions and the time in the property details was different (4 vs 5pm)
The studio has everything you need but the cleanliness was not ideal. Dirt and dust was covering around the air conditioner and all trim/registers throughout. I saw multiple ants as well even though I had no food present. Mildew in shower.
I never received checkout instructions and had left between 7-8am. I received a text at 9:58 (2 minutes before checkout time) that told me about where to place garbage and to make sure I did dishes.
The building itself is nice enough and the neighborhood is safe and adorable. I thoroughly enjoyed a morning walk to a local eatery.
Im not sure I would stay here again. It was sufficient for my softball tournament but I was disappointed in the communication and cleanliness.
Location and price! What can I say they have it in spades. It was charming to be able to wake up and walk for coffee every morning!! The studio is much bigger than anticipated which is perf. If you need a fun place to crash while in cbus this is the spot!!
I was in town for a tournament and was able to stay in this studio. It was located in a great area, overall my stay was wonderful. I would love to stay here the next time I am in Columbus.
Cozy accommodation for 1-2. I was in town for a conference and enjoyed walking through the Victorian Village neighborhood on my way back and forth from the Greater Columbus Conference Center.
I appreciated the included tiny kitchen and the responsiveness of the host when I asked about a needed kitchen item. The only downside for me was that property is on a busy street and there was a fair amount of traffic noise at certain times, but I'm a light sleeper ane easily roused. I would happily stay in this property again if I'm Columbus.
The studio was exactly as it was in the photos. The location is perfect. I was able to take the bus to most locations and back, there’s a stop right in front of the property and across the street. My only real “complaint” is I wish checkout was later at maybe 11 or 12 like most places, otherwise it was a nice place. It was clean and everything in the apartment worked. I would definitely stay again.
Difficulty at check-in was vrbo's fault. Something was preventing emails from getting through. Once we switched to text, he was very helpful, answered immediately, even talked me through how to get free parking which is nightmarish in Columbus, which is all metered even residential. Overall it was exactly what I needed, which was a place to crash after long days at a convention.
Had a little hiccup at the beginning but was resolved super fast. It's a nice, comfy, little place if you are in town and want something quiet. We hardly heard a peep when we were there at night. We will definitely look for this place again when we come back to town.

cheap but probably not worth it.
On the final day, I discovered a hole in the ceiling, and let the hosts know. Later that evening when I got back there was a urine smell in the space, most likely due to the bathroom above the unit. The hosts only put in a maintenance request hours after I alerted them to the problem. Entry instructions didn't come until about 3 hours before check-in, they required a Photo ID on a deadline as well which I didn't know about and had to rush. Also, there was a stack of dirty towels in the shower when i arrived. I put them on top of the washer/dryer. Someone had entered the space when I wasn't there and washed them, which made me uncomfortable that they entered the space while I was renting it without letting me know.
Perfect everything - If I return, I’ll look for this place again ! If you come around here make sure to stop by paulie gees! They are right around the corner, and, if I’m not mistaken, they will win the award for the best vegan pizza in Ohio, but maybe even in “the world.” If you’re spiritually inclined, please visit my dear Godbrothers and Godsisters in our Krishna House temple on west 8th avenue just 5 blocks stroll from 1076 neil avenue the “vrbo-paradise.” hare krishna! (Vedabase.io) thank you forever 🙏💐🙇♂️💐🙏💐🙇♂️💐🙏
Very close to a clean and nice area in Columbus. Recommended.
