About this property

On the Beach-Bring your Fishing Poles and Stay Gulf Front - Pelican Bend

Pelican Bend is a gulf front, two bedroom single family home located directly on the beach in Indian Pass. This property is situated all on one level once you enter from the exterior staircase. First level – gulf front living room with sleeper sofa, TV and access to gulf front deck; gulf front dining room, kitchen, full bath with shower/tub combo, Bedroom 1 with queen bed, twin bed and TV; and Bedroom 2 – master bedroom with king bed, TV and full bath with shower only.

Perfect little beach house

We stayed at this sweet little house for 4 days with our son before he went back to college. It was perfect. The porch is amazing and you basically have the whole beautiful beach to yourself. Definitely a true beach vacation spot.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!

The home and location is absolutely amazing. Its a chill cottage vibe relaxing LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION WAS TOP TIER. it was amazing stay for myself,my husband and fur babies. Its near local eateries.so u dont have to travel too far for meals and things for the house kitchen. The beach water in that location is a lil murkey so i didn't swim but the sand is soft an the home is intimate and has awesome beach views. If looking for spiritually chill time BOOK IT! property manager were a bit of a mess got 3 calls in middle of vacay about more fees even though we spoke b4 check in and 2 calls were about the wrong info. So overall The home and scene was amazing. Prestine property did cause some unnecessary anxiety so watch out for that.

Waist of money - Place was a DUMP

The house is not what the property management (Prestine Properties) advertises. The house is falling apart, front steps are sagging and have a deep incline (dangerous trip hazard), there were small roaches everywhere, the internet was always up and down (I had work to do while vacationing and could not do much because of this issue), the home smells of mildew and stagnant, guest bathroom was dirty and awful, no maintenance at all anywhere. Patio furniture was broken and what was NOT broken was very uncomfortable. VRBO should also be made responsible for letting this house on the WEB page… The management company was of no help at all… We where so disappointed with this rental that we ended up leaving a day earlier. Pelican Bend was a waist of good money, only memories are sad ones.

2nd time

This house is just what we needed. It allows us to bring our fur baby and actually enjoy being away from home and still being together. Thank you!

Great area but house needs some work and better cleaning .

Nice quiet area to stay. However, the house needs a substantial amount of repair and updating. Also was not very clean. Lots of hair, spiderwebs and just overall lack of cleanliness. Bug man also showed up unannounced and just walked right in.

The Calm we were seeking

My husband and I and two fur babies enjoyed this house so much. It’s comfortable and charming and the front porch is magical and so relaxing . Even with some bad weather from Ida, it was a perfect and a much needed week away.

Awesome porch/deck!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Bend, despite being there during Hurricane Sally. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 and our pup Maggie. The deck is fantastic! Although it is somewhat small, the kitchen is well stocked with enough pots and pans and serving dishes and the master bathroom has been updated. However, there are a few things to keep in mind when renting: Confirm the house is ready for check-in before arriving. We arrived at 4:00 only to find the cleaning crew still hard at work. Apparently the renters before us left the home in such bad shape it took them twice as long to clean so we couldn't check in until almost 5:00. The hall bath has a sliding barn door instead of a standard door. Not ideal if you want privacy when using the bathroom. None of the bedroom doors latch shut and most of the screens need to be replaced on the windows. Finally, I don't see how the home can accommodate 8 unless someone wants to share the twin bed. Overall, it's a great little house with lots of privacy. We enjoyed our stay.
