This is a great area! It is a private community, and you have to obtain access to enter. The roads are great, and the condo was really good. It is a one bedroom, two bath. Super serene and quiet. If you do not like to cook, just be aware restaurants are few and far between in this area. There are a few within 10 minutes, and even more within 20-30 minutes, but you won't find a quick bite super close. Just be prepared, and bring some snacks. If you forget, there is a Dollar General near the entrance.

All bedrooms need drapes

No one could see in, but lights in adjacent properties made it difficult to sleep. Nice to see the trees, but everyone deserves a little privacy in the bedroom especially when you’re not in your own home.

Beautiful Condo

Everything was very nice. Clean and furnished well. Loved the screen porch looking out at the trees. Had to take one star off as the porch chairs were dirty from sitting out and they had not been wiped down prior to arrival.

The Sounds of the nearby stream was very nice!

While sitting on the screened in porch having Breakfast the sound of the rushing waters in the Nearby stream was really relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the condo was nicely decorated. Would stay here again.

50th Birthday Vacation

The reviews from one years ago verify the complaints of our stay. Although it was clean, it does not meet Big Canoe expectations. Refrigerator didn't cool, contacted owner. Husband was asked "What do you need a Refrigerator for?" The odor of mold, mildew, urine whatever is still apparent. The room air purifier does nothing for it... seems to come from the bedroom a/c. 2 washcloths were provided for a 4 day 3 night stay. 🤮 Overall, we only slept at the condo and spent most of our time with family at their home in Big Canoe. So all in all our trip was good but for the price, I would have chosen another cabin.

Excellent Stay!

Everything was as advertised! The condo was immaculate and everything was easy to find. We had an easy check-in at the gate and no issues at all at the condo. We ate at the Clubhouse, swam and worked out at the Wellness Center/Swim Club and walked several of the trails inside Big Canoe. 10/10! We will be staying again next year!

Great long weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I booked this condo for a long weekend. It was a beautiful space and just enough for two people to spread out. One of the main reasons we booked this space was due to the other amenities that came with it - pool, fitness area, golf course, etc. However, we were surprised to learn that we had to pay additional fees to access each amenity (ex: $13 per person for 1 day access to the fitness center). I feel this should be stated somewhere on the rental agreement. With that being said, we enjoyed the (paid) amenities and our time in this space.

Pros: Well furnished and nice Ease of access Beautiful area Cons: TV- internet TV, if you want watch sports or normal TV , you cannot here Bugs- saw bugs in condo every day there. Several were roaches.

Big Canoe is AMAZING! Very nice condo!

Beautiful condo. It was clean, the two full bathrooms, fold out couch and master bedroom was perfect for my wife and two young kids. The condo had a slight rusty smell, likely from moisture build-up in the AC units. The owners did a great job of making accommodations for that with a dehumidifier and a scented candle. I would stay there again. A very reasonable price.

Vacation Stay at Big Canoe

Beautiful location. Plenty of things to do. Property Manager was very responsive. Recommend a note book be included in the cabin that identifies and location of amenities, phone numbers of amenities i.e. golf course, restaurants, fitness center etc. Also include location and code for trash building. I got blessed out by some lady because I put trash in the wrong building. Other than that everything was great

Adequate cozy condo for short stay in Big Canoe

This condo is in a great location within Big Canoe, close to the water park, clubhouse, and tennis facilities. Kitchen and living areas look recently updated and we appreciated the 2 full bathrooms for our family of 4. Lovely screened-in small porch/deck overlooking the woods. A few negatives that unfortunately dampened our experience...we could not eliminate a strong unpleasant musty smell despite constantly running the dehumidifier and both wall A/C units (no central A/C). The mattress in the bedroom desperately needs replacing. Lastly, the large patio glass sliding door in the living area does not have curtains, which is not ideal when you’re using the nearby pull-out couch as bed #2 for the kids. Overall the condo was adequate and we loved the location, but we were glad we only committed to 2 nights.

Enjoyed staying at the property. Kitchen needs additional accessories such as a larger frying pan, adult size silverware that doesn’t come apart, kitchen linens, a pitcher, and additional cookware. Very clean and well maintained. Bed is very comfortable. Looking forward to returning soon.

It was good but air should have been on before we checked in it was very musty smelling for awhile and a tv in bedroom would have been great! Overall a great stay!
