2/10 Terrible

Disappointed
When I originally booked this property, I choose it because it was described as secluded and private. It was not listed that the owners live on the property. Not only do they live on the property, but their home is just feet away. The cabin is situated between the owner's home and garage. If I knew this to be a case, I would have never rented it. I was looking for seclusion and privacy. I see that the description was recently updated to include the information about the owners living on the property. The description that was listed when I rented the property is that it was on acreage up next to forest service land. It did not mention anyone else living on the property. It is important for me to say that the owners are very kind. They are quiet and caring. They did nothing wrong. I just really do enjoy the seclusion of the mountains and complete privacy. The other issue with the property is that it was terribly and uncomfortably hot. There was a portable air-conditioning unit in the cabin, but it made very little difference. The front room cooled a bit, but the kitchen and the upstairs room remained quite hot. I brought in two additional fans, but it made no difference. The one night we did stay we got little to no sleep due to the heat. Also, I enjoy cooking, but the kitchen was already quite hot, so cooking anything just made it even hotter. The portable air-conditioner is not equipped to cool off a cabin of that size. We stayed only one night and I left. I was contacted by "The Resolutions Team" with evolve via email on July 20th. I responded to them on the same day. It is now July 26th and I still have not received a response back from the "Resolutions Team".

a charming log cabin in the woods
Our family enjoyed this wonderful quaint log cabin in the woods. The hosts, Andrea and James, were very attentive to our need. Having no TV was a big plus. We even played board games together. We had a great time in the log cabin.

Wonderful cabin in the woods
Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. The cabin is located between their main house and large shop. Very clean and has almost everything you need. We would stay here again. Plenty of activities to do and close enough to town to make it easy.

Nice cabin close to Bonners Ferry
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The host were great. The cabin was really comfortable and a fun place to spend a long weekend. Lots of outdoor activities to do in the area which is the main reason we visited. The cabin is located between the host house and their large garage which we were not expecting, but we had a great time.
