The town of Haines Falls is indeed story book charming. The house was clean and it had a large kitchen. Bathroom was a bit small and the tub was cute but not functional; hard to get in and out of. The porch and backyard was the highlight. We spent wonderful evenings cooking out and telling stories around the fire. Overall, a great experience.
Very old and dirty place. Poor maintenance. Not recommended .
The appliances, the microwave oven and the toaster in the kitchen, very dirty. Except the refrigerator.
The bathroom like a haunted corner with old and broken parts. See the shower.
Vrbo must check the recommended proprieties .

About the host

I like to ski bike and hike in the local area. This is such a beautiful place to be in the summer time as well as the winter. There are 35 peaks over 3500' in the Catskills and hopefully someday I will have hiked them all.
Why they chose this property
the property is easy to get to from all areas and close to town with many new restaurants.
