Home was clean, kitchen had everything we needed to cook in, plenty to do without leaving, prompt communication, nice and quiet neighborhood, and located close to many restaurants and stores!
House is neat and clean !have everything we needed .my family enjoyed the swimming pool and the boat dock easy access to sanibel island and ft myers .quiet neighborhood and closed to everything . !
We definitely stay again !
Our family really enjoyed the pool, hot tub. We enjoyed sitting on the dock, the peacefulness of the neighborhood and the water views. House was clean, and had many kitchen essentials. No issues at all. There is not too much to do with kids in Cape Coral, so there was more driving than I would have liked, seemed like everything was 20+ mins away to go to the beach and other activities.
We had a great time on our visit to FL and our stay at this home. It was as advertised. My mom especially loved the interior design, as it reminded her of growing up. Very clean, great location.
Just what we needed ! This property is awesome and has a lovely mid century decor and so comfy for our party of 6.
On Sept 19 I lost my husband of 47 years to Pulmonary Fibrosis and we needed to disconnect and enjoy our family in a magic place. This surpassed our expectations and more. Thank you
The house was beautifully decorated in a 1960's retro style. It was spacious and included everything we needed....including beach chairs and towels, a cooler, 2 bikes and 2 kayaks. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors were very friendly. Shelia (the owner) was very helpful and responsive to questions I had during our stay. I would highly recommend this home away from home in Cape Coral.
We took a vacation from Miami to Cape Coral, we love the west coast beaches. We also have a boat and this house was perfect for us as it has a lovely boat dock with lift! This house is amazing, we were so happy with the cleanliness of the home. The beds were so comfortable and big. The pool and hot tub was great and my kids enjoyed all the pool toys. This property was great for our family of 6. It was very comfortable.
We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican! Everything was even better than pictured/described in the listing. The retro decor was perfect, the pool/spa was excellent, and communication with the owners was great. Tons of activities within minutes of the home. We would definitely return for another stay!
This house was located in a very quiet serene location on the canal. We loved being able to go fishing and swimming everyday. The house is decorated straight out of the 70’s which was so fun. Highly recommend for a vacation where you just want to relax.
We had a great time! The lanai area with pool and hot tub was great! We had our boat, and having the dock (and boat lift, which we didn't need) was great! Such easy access to the bay and gulf. Super comfy beds! Would definitely stay there again!
The house is pristine and so enjoyable! Everything was great! We especially enjoyed the record player and old records and of course the pool and lanai.
After a prolonged, frustrating day of travel, it was such a relief to walk into this immaculate property. In addition to the overall excellent level of cleanliness, the property was stocked with all linens (including beach towels), along w/all types of kitchen necessities & small appliances. Additionally, they provided an array of everything needed for outdoor activities, including 2 bicycles, fishing poles, kayaks, beach chairs, etc. The pool, spa and screened porch, along with the composite deck along the canal were even better in person. The location was just minutes from restaurants and marina area.
Beautiful retro-themed villa in perfect place for boat access
We loved our stay in this Cape Coral villa! We couldn't really ask for a better location for access to the river and intercoastal for our boat rental - the location even makes for quick and easy navigation back from the main waterways. Highly recommend this home if you're interested in renting a boat for any part of your stay in Cape Coral - and reach out to Speed Dock for boat rentals (Bastian made the process super easy and worked around our schedule for delivery/pickup of the boat).
The villa is very accommodating, beautiful, and relaxing. Loved the pool and hot tub (and fencing to put up for kids safety), the full amenities available inside to make our stay comfortable and convenient, and the Florida room to catch a breeze. The large dock makes for the perfect spot to watch for water life in the canal or fish off of. Neighborhood is peaceful and neighbors all seemed very nice and welcoming.
Host are very understanding and great with communication. Check-in/out was simple and direct, and any questions we had were answered in very timely manner. Thanks so much for having us!
Our stay was wonderful. Delightful decor! The house is thoughtfully, well-stocked with paper goods, linens, hand and dish soap, etc. The owners made everything easy! The kids enjoyed the pool, and we ended each day in the hot tub. The neighborhood is quiet, and we enjoyed biking and walking through it. This is our new favorite place to stay in Cape Coral.
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Luna, the location was fantastic, nice south facing pool. We started each day with an hour walk around the neighborhoods, very safe! Close to everything, would definitely stay again! Thank you for a great vacation!
This little house was just perfect and met the needs of our multi-generation group. First, the funky 60’s modern decor was such a treat. Obviously, great care was taken and no detail was missed when this home was updated. Little touches brought back childhood memories, like the bathroom tile, terrazzo floors. The house was fully stocked and sparkling clean which was appreciated during these Covid times. We were able to cook and dine on the porch poolside and watch the boaters on the canal. We rented a pontoon boat and spent our days fishing or just cruising the water ways. When not boating, some were golfing or just relaxing in the beautiful cross breeze of the Florida room. I highly recommend this home and the owners were a pleasure to rent from. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.
My family and I really enjoyed this property. The description on the website is accurate and the hosts are terrific. The house was immaculate. We are looking forward to returning.

About the host

We came to Cape Coral on a family vacation and fell in love with the laid back atmosphere, friendly people and the easy access for boating. We knew this was a place we wanted to spend more of our leisure time and began looking for a property of our own.
Why they chose this property
We are only the 3rd owners of this wonderful mid century modern. The 1st owner, "Mrs. B" and her husband built the home in 1966. Her husband was killed in service and never got to enjoy the home. "Mrs. B" never remarried or had children, but stayed and wintered in the home for the duration of her life. We are told that "Mrs. B" was quite the neighborhood character and would go on her daily walks dressed to the 9's. She was always on neighborhood watch for garbage by the street and made it her duty to pick up any stray trash. She was also known to stop by the neighbors homes for a quick cocktail when out on her walks. We have done some updates to the house to make it more livable by modern standards, but have been careful to keep the retro integrity intact. We like to think that "Mrs. B" is smiling! :)
What makes this property unique
Experience the retro Florida vibe that was present at the beginning of Cape Coral.
