The yurt sleeps 2 comfortably with a king size bed and and a pull-out sofa (for additional guests) outfitted with a memory foam mattress. This yurt has a full kitchen, bathroom, Heat/AC, a large wrap around deck, picnic table, and charcoal grill. Your yurt is located on 1500 acres of Kairos Wilderness Resort. There are approximately 60 miles of trails that you can either hike, mountain bike, horse back ride, or use ATV's or side-by-sides to experience the beauty of nature.

Absolutely beautiful

This place is stunning. The yurt is beautiful on the inside and the outside and the entire yurt area is peaceful and quiet. The grounds were well kept and the scenery was great. Everyone we encountered was very nice and friendly. We will definitely be back.

Quiet and peaceful

It was a wonderful break away from civilization and people. The yurt was wonderful and the resort was quiet and peaceful, other than people riding ATVs and such, but that was nothing bad.

A Place to Disconnect from the Rat Race

This yurt was a good place to disconnect from all the craziness of the world. Little to no cell signal and no wifi helped to ignore all that was happening in the world, which was necessary for real rest. The yurt was peacefully nestled among the trees where there was a plethora of birdsong and budding flowers on the tulip trees. The serene surroundings were occasionally punctuated with the sounds of a dirt bike or freight train in the distance, but it was still restful overall. Mike was a great host and took care of all that we needed and I'd recommend this yurt as a nice little getaway.

Unplug and relax!

We had such a peaceful and relaxing time during our stay. We really enjoyed the UTV we rented. Mike gave us clear instructions on the use of the machine. The trails we well marked and included some beautiful sights we would have never hiked to. We watched the stars and fireflies through the dome of our yurt at night and sat drinking coffee in the clouds at the amphitheater. We will definitely return. Just bring bug spray!

Beautiful setting.

My only regret was that the property is at the end of some very difficult road. Driving in and out took 30 minutes each way. The yurt was fantastic, and Mike was very accommodating in letting me use the HQ wifi for my Hebrew reading group!

So cozy in the rain

What a cozy spot. Mike was so terrific in working with us as we were arriving later than expected. Everything was so neat and clean. This was our first yurt adventure and it won't be the last. The road in is a bit of an adventure, but just keep driving. It's worth it!

Perfect quiet getaway

The yurt was nicely tucked away. Mike and Pat were extremely kind and communicative, really appreciated them and their hospitality. Having quick access to the river down the road was great, there were tons of trails, and just the sounds of animals and rain at night, which was just what these city girls needed. I'd definitely bring some kayaks next time! Thank you so much!

The Yurt was awesome...we loved it. It is in a great spot. We loved the fact that we could take our dogs with us and seeing the deer and wild turkeys throughout the day was amazing. Very clean and well stocked...would definitely go again and again.
