About this property

Our lovely and luxurious dune villa 'Sela' is overlooking the Engelsman dune, one of the highest dunes of Ameland Island. When dining in the evening, the light of the lighthouse will ensure a stunning island feeling. A fresh dive in the morning is available at the very rustic beach at the other side of the dunes (about 15 minutes walk trough beautiful nature).

We totally refurbished our house in 2017. Our house has 5 bedrooms, a great living room with a (gas) fireplace, a cosy kitchen with kitchen island, a beautiful dining room and a ‘spa’ with sauna and tanning bed.

What we like about it? The 'Total Island Feeling'! Just getting away from the ‘big world’ for a moment!

Our caretakers couple Rick and Ronja are living on Ameland and they will make sure your stay will be a pleasant joy!

Peaceful island getaway

We were two families (4 adults and 4 children) that stayed at the villa for a long weekend. The house was cosy but comfortable and was fully equipped with everything we needed. The house is especially equipped for young children (including crib, toys, high chair, kids kitchen wear). The house is about a 15-20 minute walk (with children) to the beach or faster if you take the bike on the path. The landscape is absolutely stunning and the village of Hollum is quaint, charming and has everything you would need for food, wine, restaurants and shopping. The house was clean and comfortable. We didn’t use the sauna so can’t comment on this amenity. At the owner’s recommendation we hired Chef Danny and Sommelier Egbert who catered a lovely dinner for the adults at the house. We highly recommend this.

Fantastisch!!

Werkelijk waar alles aan dit huisje was geweldig. Het is super sfeervol ingericht, schoon, genoeg ruimte voor het aantal personen en voldoende douches en wc´s. De dag beginnen met een ontbijtje aan de lange eettafel met het prachtige uitzicht, was elke ochtend weer een feestje.

Schönstes Haus auf Ameland

Wunderbarer Blick auf die Dünen. Super Lage. Gute Ausstattung. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann man den Tag auch gut im Haus verbringen.

Gewoon geweldig

Prachtig verblijf gehad, het was heerlijk weer. Veel buiten op de super loungebank gezeten. Heel praktisch was ook de tandem en bakfiets die bij het huis horen. ‘s Avonds douchen onder de buitendouche. De sauna zag er heel mooi uit maar domweg niet gebruikt ivm het mooie weer en omdat we er maar kort waren dus we komen een keer terug in de winter. Het huis is heel fijn we hebben er van genoten! Veel dank

Wir (7p) hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in der Villa Sela. Es war sehr angenehm. Wir haben seit mehreren Jahren andere Häuser auf Ameland gemietet, aber Sela ist wirklich anders. Kein nacktes unpersönliches ‘Miethaus’, sondern ein modernes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit schöner Atmosphäre. Wir haben es wirklich genossen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter und mit Rick und Ronja war großartig. Nicht billig, aber es lohnt sich. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Sommer in Sela!

Auszeit in den Dünen

Sowohl die Lage als auch die Ausstattung dieses Ferienhauses lassen keine Wünsche übrig. Durch den großen Glasgiebel hat man das Gefühl, mitten in den Dünen zu sitzen. Einfach phantastisch! Das Haus selber zeichnet sich durch eine geschmackvolle Großzügigkeit aus und lässt selbst bei einer Vollbelegung genügend Raum für jeden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Tophuis op toplocatie

Wij (familie van 8) hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in villa "Sela". Een prachtig huis op een perfecte locatie. Genoeg ruimte voor iedereen. De megabank in de woonkamer viel erg in de smaak bij de jongeren. Modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien.Mooi buitenterras met loungebank en bankjes voor het huis om te ontbijten in de zon. Je loopt vanuit het huis zo de duinen in. Zeer prettige communicatie met verhuurders. Wij komen zeker terug. Warm aanbevolen!

Lovely to stay in Paradise!

Alles klopt: Heerlijk eiland. Heerlijke locatie. Heerlijk huis. Heerlijke bedden (!). We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad. Uniek was de dagelijkse wandeling door natuur naar het bijna prive strand. We hopen zeker terug te komen.
