Anniversary Getaway

We booked this place, a quick drive from Edmonton, for our anniversary. It was cozy and modernized. Loved the decorator for this cabin! The owners responded promptly to our questions the first night. Lots of supplies in the kitchen so we could prepare all of our meals right there! The bedrooms are small, but with only 2 of us, we were able to use one for our clothes, and one to sleep in. Overall, we give this place 5 stars as it suited our needs perfectly.

Excellent little cabin

Very cozy, modern and welcoming. The welcome basket was filled with lovely treats. The bed was comfortable (we only used one). There is a small dvd collection which we appreciated, and board games which were nice to play. We also saw deer right outside the window every day. It was beautiful in the winter and we look forward to coming back again in the future.

Relaxing stay

This cabin was the perfect retreat from the daily busy hustle. The pictures do not do it justice as the yard is a nice size for kids to play and the fire pit is located in a great spot. The property has trees surrounding it, which gives you privacy. Overall the cabin, yard and owners are amazing. Looking forward to booking here again.

Cute Cabin

Great property, loved the space! Had almost everything we needed; would have been nice to know at time of booking that we had to supply our own wood for the firepit instead of trying to find a place the day before but the kitchen was fully stocked with spices so I guess it makes up for that. Highly recommend

A quiet country cabin with lots of extras

My 2 daughters (both adults) and I enjoyed a three night girls getaway. We were looking for a country experience with the comforts of home, and that is indeed what we found. Terry and Alana have obviously put their heart and soul into making this cabin a comfortable place to relax and enjoy. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and appliances, the bathroom is clearly newly renovated with a rain shower and lots of towels, lotions, etc. The beds were comfortable, with lots of pillows and blankets. The highlight for us was the firepit and back yard area. We had lots of room to play outdoor games and at night, the firepit was a fantastic spot to unwind and just enjoy some quiet time together. The lights strung all along the perimeter of the yard give the area a magical ambiance. There are many whimsical characters placed around the area that make one smile. We really felt at home here, and would recommend it.

Cozy glamping cabin.

Cute, cozy and comfortable. Great spot for family get away. Fishing, golfing, and lake activities. If the lake isn't in good condition to swim in, Pembina River is just a stones throw away with a natural beach. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation.

Glamping at lac la no

Nice cabin with comfortable beds, redone bathroom and nicely appointed kitchen. The property is really great due to the the overall size and fire pit that is also on the property. The fishing was also great. The only issues with the property would be the sulphur smell of the well water.

What an wonderful hidden jem!!!

This was my first time using Vrbo and it was such a mind-blowing, wonderful, relaxing experience!! Terry and Alana are amazing hosts who are super helpful and very accommodating!! The cabin was so much more gorgeous then in the pictures and you felt so secluded in your own little paradise!! The community is beautiful and friendly and cutest store with the best ice-cream only a couple min drive or a short walk, from the cabin!! Thank you so much you two!! Can tell you put so much hard work and love into the property!! Thank you for letting us experience this hidden jem!! Definitely would come back again!!

Very nice getaway

This was such a lovely property both inside and out. It was the perfect get-away for my spouse and me to sneak out of the city and get some quality time to work on our projects and enjoy nature. The inside of the property is stunning and appears an interior designer was involved in the decor. The property outside is a large space with lots of privacy. Terry was so so friendly and yet professional at the same time. We are picky with service and he was amazing! We will want to return annually for sure!

Fantastic Getaway

This was the perfect hideaway. The cabin is beautifully decorated and uses space wonderfully. Terry was always very easy to contact and made the entire process very simple. Can not recommend enough, look forward to staying again at some point

Amazing Little Get Away

Charming Cabin, Quiet Location

Wonderful place to stay

Just as beautiful as the pictures show. The cabin looks rustic from the outside and is fully updated inside. Very clean, well furnished and beautifully decorated. Terry was a very accommodating host, quick to respond to questions and made our stay very pleasant. The deck and outdoor space is beautiful, lots of shady trees kept the yard comfortable on some very hot days. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

A wonderful couple of days away from city life

Terry and Alana’s cabin was a real pleasure to stay in. The kitchen had everything you would want, the bathroom was very modern, and the attention to detail reflected through the unique furniture and art pieces made for a very welcoming and cozy experience. Add to it the deck and chairs around the fire pit set and it’s pretty much all you’d want for a quick getaway. The lake is also very close by and the communication with the hosts was excellent. The only drawback was the lack of WiFi, but if you’re here to get away from city life this cozy cabin is a great place to do just that. Would definitely stay again! Dan.

Amazing

As a single mom and a nurse I was looking for a quiet mini getaway for myself, and let me tell you this property and it's owners did not disappoint. The communication with Terry and Alana was very prompt and friendly. The pics of this property do not do it justice! So well decorated and comfortable and it felt like a little piece of heaven. Very cozy and clean cabin

We really enjoyed our two night stay at this cabin. Communication from Terry was excellent, we had all the info we needed. We were very impressed by how clean the cabin was and how well stocked it was with pillows, blankets, and how great the kitchen was. The yard is huge and the fire pit is very nice. We felt very secluded and the neighborhood was very quiet. We will definitely be recommending this cabin to our friends and family.
