A wonderful Christmas

This was our first time ever renting an air b&b and we were so very pleased w everything about the property. The dogs settled in nicely and had a beautiful, large bakyard for them to run around in. The house was beautiful inside and out and the rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. Debra was easily accessible if we needed anything. I hope the next family trup qw take to New Braunfels, this home is available because when we come the next time, it will be to look for a place to live.

Great place!

Perfectly accommodating. Very clean. Comfy beds. My two young boys loved it. My three dogs loved it. Close to so much. Couldn’t ask for a better place to rest during visits with family around the area.

Great experience

This was a great stay, everything was just as listed and more. The backyard was perfect for our dogs and the privacy was really nice too. Next time we're in town we'll definitely be booking again. Thank you!

Accurate Description - Nice Stay

Exactly as advertised. VRBO Website is wonky, but once communication was established with manager all went great. Clean property, and dog friendly fenced backyard. Great cable TV. We would stay again. Suggestion: Repair bi-fold closet door in RH bedroom (off and leaning against wall), and also repair hole/crack in LH bedroom door

McQueeny condo

House was stocked with all daily needs, even had hangers, which I totally forgot to bring. Garage big enough for a midsized pickup and door clicker, even have the ability to keep the key at the place secured outside if more than 1 person doing multiple things throughout the day. Location is pretty amazing, meat market across street and stores within walking distance. There is a beautiful park about half a mile down the street. Would recommend and stay again.

Weekend Stay In New Braunfels

Property was perfect for my wife and I during our short stay in New Braunfels. Was convenient to everywhere we wanted to go and surprisingly quiet being so close to the interstate. Owner replied quickly to messages. Would stay here again.

New Braunfels Getaway

Enjoyed the location of this property as it was central to all events and attractions we were interested in. The house has plenty of room just very basic. No decorations in the house and dark paneling dated it but it worked for our stay. Debra was responsive to my inquiries.

New Braunfels Weekend

Clean place with great location in the city. Right next to the highway and Buckeye's no noticeable noise from the highway. We liked how the garage separates the duplex.

The owner is super sweet and helpful. The duplex is clean and has everything you need.

The bed sleeps better than my bed at home. The only thing tht I would change is a ceiling fan in the bed rooms. Five star all the way from me!

My name is Debra Fischer Grier. My husband is Kim Grier. I grew up about 1 mile from the property where Fischer Park is located on McQueeney Rd. I am the youngest of 5 children that grew up at Fischer Park. I went to New Braunfels High School & my husband went to Canyon High School. We got married July 3 1976. My father-in-law built the duplex for us in 1978. We live about 10 miles away in Marion Tx. We mostly farm & ranch for a living in addition to having several rental properties.

Why they chose this property

My oldest brother originally owned the Lot that the property is on. In 1978 it was affordable for me to purchase the property from him. My father-in-law was willing to owner-finance the duplex he built for us. As years went by the property was getting surrounded by commercial businesses so we decided to permit it through the City of New Braunfels as a vacation rental. In June 2020 is was approved as a short term rental; however, the unfortunate circumstances of COVID-19 has had an impact on how often people book vacations. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories of what brings them to New Braunfels. After a vaccine for Covid-19 I feel certain EVERYONE will once again visit New Braunfels for all the fun & excitement it offers from Schlitterbahn to tubing to Wurstfest.
