Great spot to get away from it all!
Overall, this was a great experience. Although the managing company Evolve was very poor, the owner of the house, Eli, was extremely communicative and helpful. The hot tub was great, and the house comfortable and very quiet for the most part. We enjoyed our stay, and are grateful to Eli for being easy to contact with any questions we had.

Awesome Views from the Deck
The property fit our needs and had some amazing views from the deck in the evenings. We always like to stay remote (away from the cities) and this worked perfectly.

Felt a bit duped
We were so looking forward to staying in a house that overlooked a vineyard with a hot tub and incredible outside seating areas. Which we kind of got. This house has so much potential and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. But there were multiple things that the owner should address, and future renters should be aware of BEFORE booking.Other reviews mentioned a bit of a scary drive but that was an understatement. Do not book this house if you are arriving in the dark. The roads branch off at the slightest angle, which was very difficult to see in the dark, making it easy to miss turns. It also got incredibly steep and narrow with tight switchbacks. Upon entering the house (using our flashlights), multiple light switches wouldn't turn on. After finally getting the kitchen lights to work, two of us needed to go to the bathroom, one went, toilet flushed. The second went... no flush. The tank didn't fill up, so we found a bowl and poured water into it so it would flush. There was a strong odor of animal urine in the upstairs bedroom making it unusable. The upstairs bathroom sink didn't drain. The fridge was full of food - milk, cheese, etc. The dresser had clothes, the bathroom had someone's personal toiletries. Multiple outlets didn't work. When we looked out the panoramic windows...we saw lots of BIG spiders and brown widows. And lastly (and probably most importantly), the sliding door didn’t lock. To say we didn't sleep well that first night would be an understatement. The next day we emailed the owner about these issues and our concerns were pretty much blown off and he knew about most of the issues. So we cleaned one portion of the outside (didn't use the large deck because it was a spider haven), slept on the couch instead of that one bedroom, and only left the house 2 times so we wouldn't have to do that drive in the dark. Also, the hot tub maintenance guy showed up without us having any warning at all.Even the beautiful view had a boat that looked like it belonged at a wreckage yard. The kitchen was great, the sunrise and sunsets were stunning. We made the most of it and had fun but we couldn't help feeling that we had been duped a bit. These are all fixable issues. A good cleaning, a leaf blower to all the outside furniture and easements of the house to get the massive spiders and spider webs out, running the air (might have helped with the smell), leaving a light on, and better communication between the owner would have made this rating higher

Ant Infestation, Messy, and an Intimidating Drive
We abandoned our rental stay because of the ants. The property looked unkempt overall. Things not put away, ant infestation, sliding glass door does not lock. Contacted the property manager via email and phone. No answer. Would be a rough drive in the dark if you're not accustomed to it.

Very nice home
We very much enjoyed the home. Well appointed and clean, though there was a mildew smell. We aired the downstairs bedroom out and it improved. The views are beautiful. Felt like we were on top of the world. We loved watching hawks play from the deck. Beautiful flora and fauna as well. The stars were magical. There was an odd assortment of recreational vehicles within view which was ok, but it looked a bit junky. It is mentioned in the info about the " difficult " driveway. In the day I would say difficult, at night I would say scary! We all agreed it's worth it but we would recommend a day time arrival!

Stay with a view
We absolutely enjoyed the view and the hot tub. The only draw back for us was the drive to Temecula from the house. A narrow winding road up the mountain and a dirt road to the house but it was worth it. We just adjusted our plans and we're gone for the entire day, make sure to have a designated driver, which is responsible anyway. The deck was perfect for morning coffee with a peaceful view. The hot tub in the evening with a glass of wine was the cherry on top of the hilltop home!

Perfect for a relaxing weekend
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend and we had such a great time. The views are spectacular! The house is cozy and cute. We saw a Coyote and lots of different birds and critters, it’s so nice to get away from the city and stay in a more remote area such as this. Definitely use google maps for directions when getting there or you’ll probably get lost. The roads are small and windy but just drive slow and you’ll be fine. There was a rainstorm during our stay and the wifi went out but the cable tv still worked. The jacuzzi is great and easy to use. Eli, the host, was great and answered his phone right away when we had a slight issue. I’ve rented a handful of houses and Eli was by far the best host. We all said we would love to go back in the future, I did not want to leave! Perfect house for a weekend in with family or friends.

Paradise!
I'm so glad we found this place for our stay! The drive up to the house is not for the faint of heart (I highly recommend making the trip in the daytime the first time!)...lots of switchbacks along the narrow roads. I liked the drive, but my daughter definitely didn't! Once we arrived we didn't want to leave . The house is great, and the views are breathtaking. We honestly spent much of our time out on the deck or enjoying the hot tub. While the property is quiet and serene, a quick drive (about 15-20 minutes) gets you to just about any store or restaurant you'd ever need. If we ever find ourselves back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

The location was great, views are fabulous. This place has so much potential, but needs work.
The upstairs shower has no water temp adjustment- either scalding hot or very cold. Garbage dislposal broken, several lights not working, hot tub has a leak, bed upstairs very noisy, water damage in a corner wall in downstairs bedroom. Carpet needs replaced. Several outlets aren’t working. Owner just needs to attend to the upkeep & maintenance. The views are amazing & very quiet, which we loved!

Do NOT be fooled by the pictures
My expectations were high because the price per night is so high. For starters the drive up is insane. It's super steep and dangerous. We came down for wine tasting and couldn't leave once we got to the house because it's so difficult to navigate to. Then we got there and the house looks NOTHING like the photos. It's completely outdated. There were bugs in the shower, burns in the carpet, hair on the beds, and you could see there had been wall damage and they just repainted over it in a paint color close enough but not really so you could see all the patches on the wall. My pillows didn't all have pillow covers, there weren't extra towels and the dishes in the pantry were dirty. This felt like the sleepy motel of Temecula. It was so bad we stayed just one night and left early.

Lovely remote property
We were in Temecula for a wedding and thoroughly enjoyed coming “home” to this quiet property with gorgeous views. The hot tub was such a great way to relax. Be forewarned that you are in the country, so put food in the fridge to avoid an ant invasion. That’s okay, we really didn’t need the pasties! LOL

10 star view, dirty house.
The view at this house is spectacular but the house definitely needs some cleaning. We walked into cob webs, dust everywhere and so so so many aunts! They were all over the house! It’s apparent that there is an aunt problem due to the amount of aunt traps we saw all over. I know it’s way up in the hills and Mother Nature is inevitable but would suggest frequent spraying to keep them to a minimum. We had them crawling all over us even as we slept! Not a great feeling waking up to that. The carpet appears like it hasn’t been replaced in 20 plus years. We wouldn’t walk barefoot on it. The outside patio was a great spot to sit but the tables and chairs were covered in dirt. The jacuzzi was a nice place to relax but we had to do a lot of work to make it even useable. The water was yellow when we first got there and very low. We filled it back up to above the jets and ran the clean cycle multiple times before risking going in it. We also noted a large boat and RV on the property. We were concerned about possibility of others staying in them while we were on the property. We sent an email to the management company and never got a response. I’m pretty sure we left the house cleaner then it was when we got there. Makes me upset that I was even charged a cleaning fee. They clearly don’t have it cleaned. Overall, we probably won’t be back. Such a shame because with this view, this house could be an amazing rental.

Great Views! :)
<3 Amazing Views. Wonderful hot tub. Has terrible pans. And no aluminum foil. Or a grill brush. Or working direct tv. Ants be here and there because you are in the literal on top of a mountain in a cabin. ON TOP OF A FREAKING MOUNTAIN <3 Make sure you arrive during daylight because the drive up to the home a bit scary. Will visit again. PS- The ranch doggie stopped by, we named him Bubba, we didnt want him to go :)

Excellent views!
We stayed at this property for my sister’s bachelorette party and it fit all of our needs! The views and patio are amazing, plenty of chairs outside and the hot tub worked great as well! The bedrooms and bathrooms were updated and the kitchen was nice as well. Some cons to this house are: it is very remote, and I don’t think the listing really prepared us for that. We got lost for a few minutes while trying to find the house, even in daylight. We realized Google maps was the best app to use for directions. We had a limo scheduled to pick us up, but after seeing the road up to the house, there was no way a limo could get up that windy hill. So we had to drive down the hill to meet the limo at the bottom by the gate. We also found many ants in the kitchen and bathrooms, which was unpleasant and we had to throw away some food we brought. If you enjoy peace and quiet, then you will love this house!
