Family vacation

We spent the week here with our adult children . The house is incredible. My husband and I had stayed here previously and knew the entire family would love it . We had an incredible week . Loved watching the golfers, close to everything . Everyone had an amazing time but disappointed it went so quick .

Perfect Hilton Head Week

We absolutely loved this location and our stay with Island Rentals. The location was private, but easy access to Harbor Town and the Beach Club by Walking or Biking. We loved the pool and spent most of our time out there! The inside was clean, beautiful, and easy to use. Would stay again 100%!

Perfect Week

Our family had a great time at 3 Sylvan. We have visited Hilton Head every year for over a decade and this was by far on of our favorite properties. The pool is great, and the sun room that overlooks the golf course is so nice. Super fun watching the golfers in the mornings. Definitely recommend and hope to be back next year.

Fun for everyone

Pictures are accurate although the home feels a bit bigger than portrayed. We were so impressed with the layout of the home. The entire family of 7 could be together or split off and find quiet places if desired. Screened area of pool was enjoyed every day and my dog enjoyed watching all the golfers going by. We would love to stay here again which I think speaks volumes.

2!weeks of bliss

This was by far one of the nicest places we have stayed , and we have been to a lot of great places . The house is MUCH larger than the listing appears . Way too much room for just us but we loved it . The pool spectacular. The area perfect . Can’t wait to return !!!

Felt Like Our Home..

The house was very clean and well maintained. All the rooms were nicely done and very comfortable. The open kitchen and living/dining was just like home. Wish we could have used the pool, but the temp never got above 40F. Great location and easy to walk the area, access to pickelball, tennis, restaurants and golf. Four of us felt very comfortable with two Master Suites with Ensuite bathrooms.

Wonderful family vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Love this house! It doesn’t look like it from the outside but when you step in the house it is huge! The decor is beach themed and so cute! I cannot say enough great things about this house. The pool was clean and my kids loved that it had a shallow and deep end. The kitchen was open and easy for a few of us to cook in together. Only advice is pick up the parking pass before going to the house (we did not and paid an additional $20 for the week), bring your own pillows as the ones at the property are flat and not comfortable, bring your own spices and laundry detergent as there aren’t any there. This was our first trip to Hilton head and would stay at this house every time. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

Great location to on and pool but needs work

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has amazing potential. It’s on a golf course, private, has a screened in pool. It’s almost perfect. The kitchen was well stocked and in a fantastic location. Loved that bikes were at the home upon arrival. However, the new owner will need to make some updates to the house to make it a five star. The master shower pressure was unbearable- my child started to scream, and refused to go back into the “prickly” shower; faucet didn’t work in one bathroom; plumbing seems outdated; sliding doors were very difficult to open and close (leaving us to get up and open the door every time a child needed to come in or out). The property manager was responsive once I was able to connect with him directly.

Great spot for a trip! Needed some maintenance

We had a lovely trip! Great house; just a few issues. Master shower door was loose and a cabinet front fell off in the kitchen. Drawer was off the track in the kitchen as well. Dryer had sand in it. Lots of mosquitoes inside. Also some surfaces needed to be cleaned. As a pet friendly home I was very surprised there were no cleaning supplies since half of the yard is sand. There isn’t even a broom. The AC unit kept it to 76 during the day which is warm (it was set to 68). The freezer also wouldn’t stay shut, so we lost some food that thawed. The flooring of the pool is in need of resurfacing too. Im not sure how, but the electrical is confused too because turning lights off and on in the bedrooms turns off or on lights in other bedrooms. There are also ants on the pool Deck. However; those issues were dealt with to the best of the company’s ability. They had a handyman come out (twice) and an HVAC company too. We enjoyed our stay, and the location is great. Within sea pines but not too close to harbor town.

We liked the open layout of the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The kitchen was large and well-equipped. The 2 king rooms were large with comfortable beds. Not sure about the twins in the small bedroom. The pool was fantastic and we loved that it was screened in. We were unsure about what it would be like. We used the grill once and it was nice. We loved the location of the rental. It was very close to Harbor Town; we could walk, bike, or drive. We went there daily. The beach was a bit far, but taking the trolley was the way to do it! So convenient. We loved having the bikes included with the rental. Our only disappointment was that there was no recycling. Is this new for the island, the area, or the rental company? It’s a shame.

Great house for a big group

Though we had only our nuclear family (spouse, kids, and loyal hound), we could have easily accomodated a much larger group in this spacious house. The home was immaculate upon our check in. Each kid got her own room and bathroom and we had plenty of space to read or hang out without being on top of each other. The location is good: a short 15 minute walk to Harbour Town; a 10 minute walk to Truffles Cafe in the Sea Pines Shopping Center. Or avail yourself of the free bicycles and ride to either or to the beach (15-20 minutes on a bicycle; four are provided in your rental, which is a nice addition.) Because we've had a cooler than typical fall in the south this year, we didn't use the pool much: the water was too cold from the nightly temperature drop. Had it been warmer, it would have been great. The pool is on the older side so it's not decked out with flashy tile or a waterfall, but it will cool you off and little kids will have a ball with it. Some things to be aware of and suggestions for management: - As per the listing, beach towels are not provided. We came by car, so we were able to bring our own. It would be a nice touch to have beach towels available for guests so they don't have to shlep an extra bag to HHI. - The house overlooks the golf course. The groundskeeping began every morning with leaf blowers revving at 7 a.m. sharp. If you expect to sleep late, make use of the white noise machines kindly provided in the rental. - The pool area and lanai could use a good pressure wash and leaf clearing. The hot humid southern weather leaves a lot of visible mildew and dirt around the screens and pool decking, and the screen roof is full of pine straw and leaves. - The rental needs additional blankets for the beds, which are made only with a sheet and a bedspread. - The front entry could use a nice sisal area rug to better collect the sand and dirt that inevitably gets on your shoes when you're out walking. - Finally, be aware that Sea Pines is DARK -- really dark -- at night owing to no streetlights. If you bring pet (as we did), pack a good strong flashlight if you hope to walk it after dark. (And expect to see more than a couple of deer and alligators when you do.) - We didn't find the beds comfortable, but we sleep on a very firm mattress (think morgue slab). The headboard on the twin bed rattled and shook every time our daughter turned over in her sleep, which woke her a lot. Overall though, an excellent property!

Comfort in Sea Pines Plantation

Having been to Hilton Head numerous times in the past, we have many other properties with which to compare. My wife & I and our two very spoiled mini-daschunds stayed here for 2 weeks. This house, overlooking the 7th hole of the golf course, with it's pool & screened in lanai was a delight. It has been thoroughly upgraded in every way. The kitchen was the best equipped kitchen I have ever encountered in a rental home. Beds were very comfortable. Cable TV was excellent as was the WiFi set up. And the house was impeccably clean upon arrival. I also cannot say enough about the property management company. They were extremely quick to respond to two minor requests for service. Very professional! This house met & exceeded all of my expectations. A few blocks away from Harbor Town and very close to the Sea Pines Beach Club. The bikes included with the property were used every day as was the pool. I would not hesitate to book this house again in the future. Len C. - New Boston, NH

Great place for family

We had a great time. The house was perfect for our family. Our only issue was that the pool area was coated in green mold and mildew. The outside of the house needs some care and updating. The ac quit during the day;however they had someone out within an hour and it was running when we got back from dinner!! Crisis was averted!!

Wonderful stay

We loved the property and outdoor pool. Location is great: quiet road, on the golf course for evening bike rides, close to harbor town, and bike ride distance to the beach. Only critique is that the grill desperately needs to be replaced. We would definitely stay here again.
