Stay in a unique, one of a kind, tiny house with a wood-fired hot tub/plunge pool.

Views of the creek, perfectly set in nature, for you to check out of the rat race, when you check in. Palmer & Gunn Wee Tiny was built using reclaimed materials, vintage fittings, antique doors and windows, not to mention a beautifully curated collection of antique furniture & trinkets to create the most enchanting space for you to enjoy.

With high pitch ceilings, a queen sized bed, dressed with high quality French linen and an open-plan claw foot tub to relax in, this is a tiny house like no other.

Wee Tiny also boasts a charming veranda with an outdoor kitchen and an antique cast iron wood fired heater that overlooks the creek.

A beautiful spot by the fire to sit and mull the day or night away.

Austinville Valley is one of the Gold Coasts best kept secrets nestled below world heritage listed Springbrook National Park. The area boasts spectacular waterfalls, lush rainforest, ancient trees and impressive views.

So much to do close by, making this the perfect place to either do it all or do nothing at all. The choice is yours.

We have designed and built the Wee Tiny with the intention of being a sustainable space for people to enjoy without imposing heavily on the environment.

Palmer & Gunn Wee Tiny is off grid and has a composting toilet.
It is partially run on battery power, there is a USB port to charge your phone, however there are no plug-in appliances or power points.

Fear not we have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. We have included an outdoor kitchen with 3 burner gas stove and small oven, stove top kettle and toaster, a small bar fridge, if you think you’ll need more space be sure to bring an esky and ice, ample bench space to whip up a feast and all of your basic cooking utensils, glassware and crockery.
We have also included a few extra things to make your stay just a bit more special, including organic loose-leaf tea, organic ground coffee, salt, pepper and oil.

On your way we recommend stopping in at Mudgeeraba where you will find all the necessary grocery stores to stock up on for your stay.
If you are after something special, a trip to The Kitchens at Robina Town Centre is where you will find specialty deli items.

The tiny does not have a television or WIFI and phone reception can be limited. So enjoy a game of cards or a board game, spend quality time with your loved one.

We have also included a Bluetooth speaker to play your favourite tunes while you stay.

Please note that mobile phone reception can be hit and miss, we recommend downloading your music before you come.

So when you arrive switch off and unwind.

The interior has been fitted with a beautifully restored cast iron claw foot bathtub in the open plan living area. We have provided eco-friendly bath products for your stay.

You can either soak the night away in the tub or use the large rainfall shower head.

Unfortunately the tiny is not suitable for children or pets due to the dangers of the creek and livestock.

Please note the Wee Tiny can be booked for photoshoots at an additional fee and must be approved prior.

We are all about slow mornings, restful days to do whatever you wish to do in the moment and it's all yours to enjoy.

@palmerandgunn

You have Wee Tiny, the hot tub and the surrounding area all to yourself. Enjoy the magic. We like to give you space but we are available if needed.
We live on the property in the main farmhouse but like to let you do your own thing.
You may see us out and about working with the animals feel free to say hi, if you would like. Please note that though most days are filled only with the sound of birds and the creek running that our property is situated between the creek and a sealed rural no through road, so you may hear cars, motorbikes, slashing & or farm animals.

Wee Tiny is perched right on the creek.

There is a small set six stairs with no handrail to enter the tiny.

We are located on a farm; we have cows & honeybees on the property. There is also a potential that you may come into contact with an array of wildlife, please consider if this is going to be an issue for you before booking.

A tiny ‘settlers hut’ with comfort quite unlike 100 years ago! About the host

Hosted by Fiona Gunn

Host profile image
Thank you so much for stopping by, we are Clancy & Fiona the duo behind Palmer & Gunn.

Let us tell you a bit about how we got here, it has been quite the journey.
We are two dreamers, who met at dance classes and fell in love over our interest in all things old. A few months after we started dating we fell hard for what is now our Wee Farm that we purchased in February 2016.

As soon as we took ownership we busied ourselves restoring the farmhouse and farm shed whilst working full time jobs (including a three hour daily commute) and we started our farm business. It was tough and required lots of sacrifices but boy, oh boy, it was worth it.

After hosting families in our beloved farmhouse we made the big, bold decision to move back in and build a Tiny House to host slow farm stays for solos and couples. Wee Tiny was born, a unique, one of a kind, Tiny House with a woodfired hot tub.

We designed and built Wee Tiny using reclaimed materials, vintage fittings, antique doors and windows, not to mention a beautifully curated collection of antique furniture & trinkets to create the most enchanting space to share with people seeking a bit of quiet.

We wear many hats on our Wee Farm, spending our days hosting gorgeous guests at our Wee Tiny farm stay, tending to our Belted Galloway cows, pouring honey from our hives, cultivating cut flowers, growing our own food, hosting workshops, preparing for location shoots and then there is always another project on the go and on occasions we open our farm gates to film crews which is always exciting. Spot our farm on Netflix original series “Irreverent.”

There has been many highs along the way, the biggest by far was when our Wee Tiny featured on the cover of our favourite magazine Country Style Magazine.

We love sharing our farm life with you, so be sure to follow along on our socials @palmerandgunn and subscribe to stay up to date.

Kindest,
Clancy & Fiona
Palmer & Gunn
