Cozy and quiet

This location was great for exploring the nearby Shawnee State Park. It was cozy and quiet and we really enjoyed staying outside by the campfire with our dogs.

Loved the pool deck

Large piece of land for dogs to run. very peaceful loved sitting on the pool deck relaxing with the beautiful view of the property. Stores still close enough to get in what you need. They provide all the basic necessities, kitchen well stocked, decorated to adorable. Communication with owner and checking was great, would definitely go back.

View from pool deck

The cabin is as adorable, while offering many amenities and necessities. Large piece of land, there are neighbors close on the left side but they are friendly and that was not a big deal lots of room for your dog to run. My favorite was the pool deck that has a with the cabana. Beautiful area, peaceful and relaxing.

Relaxation at its finest

Beautiful property with a cute house and great pool. No Wi-Fi but it is perfect for a get away to relax and slow down. Only 2 1/2 hour drive from DC. Weather was absolutely perfect. Host is not very responsive but the property makes up for it ten fold.

Very clean cute little cottage along woods.

Clean comfy cottage along woods. Great outdoor setting. Screened porch great for taking in night or morning sounds and fresh air while relaxing. Owner very attentive. There are neighbors down below but still a lot of privacy. Will stay again!

The place is off the beaten path but right next to neighbors. We were looking for something more back woods. However the Cottage is clean and has all amenities you need! Including rafts for the pool, doggie dishes, hand soap, straws, drinking cups. The only things to bring are ice! An Axe to cut fire wood (they only supply big logs and do not have an axe

Short but sweet weekend

We had a very nice weekend. The cottage is very clean and homey. We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and by the campfire in the evening. Shawnee lake is nearby and is a great spot for any outdoor activities. The screened in porch is a great place to watch movies after a tiring day at the lake. We would recommend to anyone and plan to come back again
