This place is what it states - A hidden gem. Host Christine was very helpful for the stay. The place is very comfortable, clean and has everything you require. We stayed early September 2024 and wished we could have stayed longer. Breakfast provided was amazing. Couldnt fault the accommodation. A lot of food places close by if you didnt want to cook. Definitely a place to stay if you are in the Upper Hutt region.

The unit was a self-contained suite. It was tastefully decorated. We even had off street parking space in the carport. And it was easy walking distance to the light rail train into downtown Wellington. This BnB set the standard by which we will evaluate all future lodging. Recommend it highly!

We loved staying at Christine’s Hidden Gem. Everything was as good of not better than advertised. The little extras Christine provided were greatly appreciated. Wow! Comfort indeed.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Christine’s sensational studio. Christine has thought of absolutely everything and the studio was fully kitted out. We could have happily stayed there for weeks. This accomodation had excellent security features and we had no hesitations leaving our belongings there. It is located in a peaceful and quiet area but also only a 20 minute drive away from the hustle and bustle of the city with a myriad of restaurants and activities to experience. We highly recommend this accomodation if you are looking to experience New Zealand’s capital.

The Hidden Gem was just that. Conveniently located in an Upper Hutt village, the apartment was private, quiet and well designed for travellers seeking both a place that feels like a home (efficient and well equipped kitchen and laundry; comfy couch and Netflix, homemade biscuits) but with some luxurious touches - like a large, stylish bathroom and huge, comfortable bed with beautiful linen. So it was the full package. Thank you Christine for your warm welcome and hospitality. We loved it!
