Stay in a charming, newly renovated 1920s apartment. Decorated in keeping with the period but with modern amenities, you'll enjoy high ceilings, large rooms and an attached garage. 2 bedrooms, one with a king bed and walk in robe and one with a queen bed. A large bathroom offers a shower, large vanity and washer and dryer. A generous eat in kitchen is fully equipped and the large living room includes ample seating as well as a desk for working from home, if needed. You can see the ocean from the porch of this ground floor property, and the beach is only 50 metres away. Close to Jetty Rd with every service and entertainment you could need, as well as the tram to the city.

Gather Round Beach Stay
Deb is a fantastic host. Her apartment is in a convenient little spot, right next to the beach and a short walk to all the shops. Its also a simple tram trip straight into the guts of Adelaide. The apartment ticked all our boxes and we plan on staying here again next SA trip.

The Peacock at Glenelg
We loved this property, being fans of very early 20th century architecture and decor.That being said, the modern facilites, such as dishwashwer, washing machine and dryer were all there.Its only a 2 minute stroll to the beach too, making it thoroughly enjoyable, admiring the heritage architecture, and the many souls taking advantage of this picturesque area.Parking on site made it easy with the car, not worrying about parking.Deb has done a fabulous job of making the peacock a home away from home.

Perfect beachside retreat
So spacious and comfortable for two couples, and convenient to the beautiful beach and to Jetty Rd. The house had everything we needed and was a great base for our family holiday.

Location, location, location! 60 sec walk to Glenelg beach. A couple minutes walk to Jetty Road shopping, restaurants and Tram into Adelaide . Spacious unit with own parking.

Great for a weekend getaway
We were two couples travelling to Adelaide for a weekend away. This property was ideal for us. Deb was an excellent communicator, the flat was clean and comfortable, and the location was quiet despite being in a busy area. The flat did not get a lot of natural light if that's an issue for you. Imagine that would be a bonus in a hot Adelaide summer.

Glorious Glenelg
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our accommodation. Deb has a lovely unit, clean, tastefully decorated in the era of the unit's age, a few extras to help you out in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry, and very comfortable beds. What a glorious walk from the unit to the ocean, a pebble throw away.

We don't think that the idea of LUXURY is the same as ours. No way was this property luxury. It was definitely vintage.

Location & convenience at the right price
The overall highlight was the location. Literally a 30 sec stroll to the beach & 2-3mins walk into Moseley Square attractions, eateries etc I knew we were close, but what a surprise & delight to see & experience it myself. Located on the corner of a no through road that leads to the beach & the other road that leads directly into Moseley square. It’s a quiet area with the unit on the ground floor- no stairs! This grand old Dame has been tastefully restored. The rooms are spacious. The owner is ever so helpful & prompt with her communication. The place is older but comfortable for 4 people. The location is perfect - it’s a hidden gem. Deb has a few basic pantry starters (sugar, salt etc), the dishwasher, washing machine & dryer are handy as is the second tv in the main bedroom. Leave your car in the garage & walk everywhere. Great little unit, we’ll be back again next year! Thanks for everything Deb, you’ve been wonderful.

Very nice place. Close walk to Jetty Road for my mum with a walker. Rooms are huge and beds were comfy. I would suggest some scissors, water jug and bigger drinking glasses. Overall a great place with just a couple of things I would add but we still coped without them. Having the shampoo, conditioner and some washing powder was very much appreciated
