Klein und fein

Gut ausgestattes Appartment in optimaler Lage zum Strand. Die Fotos sind nicht ganz aktuell, es gibt mittlerweile ein neues, komfortables Schlafsofa, dass auch für jemand mit über 1m90 bequem ist. Das Etagenbett ist dagegen eher für jüngere Kinder geeignet, meine sind 14 und 16 und beide über 1m80, aber für zwei Wochen geht auch das. Die Kommunikation mit Marie-Helen und ihrem Mann war sehr nett und zeitnah, auch ein "Party-Problem" in unserer zweiten Woche im Nachbar-Appartment konnte schnell gelöst werden. Die Küche ist klein aber funktional und sehr gut ausgestattet, das hatten wir diesen Urlaub auch schon anders kennengelernt. Wir hatten uns über die Backofenfunktion der Einbaumikrowelle gefreut, das war fein für die eine oder andere Pizza oder Quiche Lorraine :-) Definitiv eine Empfehlung, wir kommen gerne wieder!

Das Studio ist erstaunlich gut ausgestattet: mit eigenem Parkplatz, praktischen Möbeln, allen wichtigen Küchenutensilien inkl. Abwaschmittel und Müllbeutel. Der Tisch hat super schlaue Stühle, die man eng dranstellen kann, was bei so einem kleinen Studio sehr wertvoll ist. Ein Heizstrahler brachte uns die sehr freundliche und praktisch veranlagte Vermieterin zu Anfang mit. Wir waren im April da und konnten ihn gut gebrauchen, um mal Handtücher etc schneller zu trocknen. Wir hatten zwei Kinder und ein Baby dabei, die sich gerne vollmatschen, da war das echt praktisch. Als wir vorab nach einem Toaster fragten, brachte die Vermieterin einfach einen aus ihrer Küche zum benutzen mit, echt super! Achtung Filmliebhaber: die Wohnung hat sogar einen DVD-Player! Hatten natürlich keine Filme dabei, da wir das nicht erwartet hatten und bei der Objektbeschreibung eine Liste der Ausstattung fehlt. Die Morgensonne war toll beim frühstücken, störte aber beim aufwachen nicht, da die Läden ausserordentlich gut schliessen. Was noch? Die Dusche funktioniert super, der Wasserhahn ist etwas schwierig zu regulieren, da haben wir uns mehrmals die Finger verbrannt, es kommt sehr heisses Wasser raus :-) Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil die Wohnung an der Decke sehr viel Schimmelbefall hat und auch müffelt, wenn länger nicht gelüftet wird. Der schlimmste Moment war einmal morgens beim Aufstehen, als es bereits von den Wänden her roch und wir nicht lüften konnten, weil ausgerechnet an dem Tag noch der Gestank von der 5km weiten Papierfabrik herübergetragen wurde. Meistens kommt der Wind aber von der anderen Richtung. Und ich vermute, der Schimmel ist auch der Grund für den sensationell tiefen Preis des Studios (zumindet Ende April), und das hat mich recht versöhnt damit. Also: Nase zu und geniessen!

absolutely worth the price!

Simple and easy. Very close to the beach, right behind the first sand dune. You get the true 'Les Sablons'-experience. The ideal low-budget alternative, if your focus is on out-door-activities (like surfing, sun bathing, hiking, cycling). By mid-April, not many bars and restaurants were open in the ultimate neighborhood (very likely to be far buzzier during the months of peak season). Friendly host. All in all the Holiday absolutely worth the price!

Stressfreier Urlaub

kleines nettes Appartement, direkt am Strand, unkomplizierte Abwicklung

Das Apartment entsprach der Beschreibung. Es ist nicht erste Strandreihe, aber direkt hinter der Ladenzeile mit Geschäften und etlichen Lokalen. Die kleine Terrasse liegt eher unattraktiv Richtung Parkplatz (es gibt dafür aber auch einen eigenen Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück, dies ist in der Hauptsaison Gold wert)/ Hintereingängen der Ladenzeile, in wenigen Schritten ist man dafür aber bei den Bars, Restaurants und Läden, die vornehmlich nur in der (Haupt-)Saison geöffnet haben, oder auch direkt am Strand. Das Apartment wird laufend renoviert, einiges (Pantry, Bad, TV (franz. DVB-T)) ist schon recht gut gelöst. Ich würde das Apartment für zwei Personen empfehlen, mit mehr Personen nur für eine Familie oder sehr gute Freunde, da es ein Studio ist, bietet es nur sehr wenig Raum für Privacy. Die Abwicklung war sehr unkompliziert, da die Bezahlung vorab über fewo erfolgte. Es war möglich, Bettwäsche und Duschtuch gegen eine Gebühr von 15.- Euro zu bekommen. Die Gastgeberin war sympathisch und bemüht sich um Ihre Gäste. Für mich als Alleinreisenden war dieses Studio genau das richtige, um in der Nebensaison (Mitte Juni) einen schönen, preiswürdigen Kurzurlaub (eine Woche) zu verbringen. Es hat unbedingt Charme, unbesorgt ein Glas Wein zum Abendessen nehmen zu können, dabei aus mehreren Gaststätten zu wählen, und anschließend, wenn die Tagesgäste Girons-Plage verlassen haben, nochmal die Düne hinab zum Strand zu gehen und den unermüdlichen Wellenreitern zuzuschauen, und es dann nur wenige Schritte zur Unterkunft zu haben.

studio très fonctionnel

Le studio est très fonctionnel, la plage est à 10m ! Il y a des restaurants juste à côté et Marie-Hélène nous a même proposé un repas et/ou un petit déjeuner tout prêt (moyennant un supplément bien sûr). L'accueil a été très agréable. On venait de la vélodyssée qui passe à 100m. Très pratique ! Encore merci pour tout, Sébastien et Jean-Jacques.
