Beautiful old farm house with plenty of beds to pick from.
The location was wonderful, and our 5 little farm kitty visitors each night were so cute.
There were plenty of heaters for us to warm the bedrooms, and the fireplace kept the loungeroom nice and warm for us.
Interesting farm stay with history of the generations and wonder list of yesteryear’s. Beautiful sunsets and interesting views of the wind farm and lithium battery farm. Not too far out of Jamestown to enjoy the bakery or hotels with the RM Williams statue. Lovely to spend time with the cats.
A typical old country farmhouse located just out of Jamestown. Plenty of space and lots of old charm. Stuck in the middle of nowhere but a short drive from lots of places to see and things to do.
Bowled over... this exquisite rambling and elegant farmhouse is one of the best holiday stays I and my compadres have experienced. We are a group of dissparate professionals who regularly travel to bnbs together. This place as a unique experience..tops the list.. the house itself transports you to another era...so large authentic and rambly... the views are surreal ..Flinders in the background sheep in the foreground...wide verandhas to sit at night watching the shooting stars drop by... this is the best night sky youll see in the world... dont take my word...check it out yourself...
Firstly I want to say the location and the house is perfect, quite isolated but in a good way, had some great weather and there is plenty of room in the house for our large family get together of 12 people. Only problem is when we all arrived there was no water which of course means there’s no flushing toilet. We rang the owner who tried to help us and was telling us to try a few different things which none of them worked, he eventually sent a neighbour to look at it and she thought she’d fixed it and left, but when we tried it after 5 mins it wasn’t working again, long story is my husband and son hours later Eventually fixed it ourselves. The first 3 hrs of our break was not a lot of fun. I had asked the owner before we left home if there was plenty of firewood for the firepit and was told yes there’s plenty. There was 3 pieces…so we had to buy some ourselves. Also we couldn’t use the pizza oven as the gas bottle was leaking. We loved our stay and would still recommend visiting this lovely farmstay.
We enjoyed staying at the farm house as it was something a bit different - a little bit remote, lots of rooms and space in the house, and very private. It had everything we needed.
