Where will I be?
Lakehouse is located beside a grassy waterfront reserve at Erowal Bay, a lovely little village adjacent to Jervis Bay National Park and just five minutes to Booderee National Park and the white sands of Hyams Beach. Erowal Bay, pronounced more like “Erroll Bay” by the locals, has a small general store, post office and bottle shop. The Vincentia Home Co shopping centre is only 5 minutes away, and you are just a short drive to Huskisson. Although you are close to all Jervis Bay has to offer, Erowal Bay’s peaceful location seems far from the holiday crowd. We call it our secret paradise!
Why choose Lakehouse?
Lakehouse is a relaxing and unique coastal haven! The expansive living room in the heart of the home has floor to ceiling glass windows and looks directly onto Erowal Bay. In the afternoons and evenings, with its western outlook, it is perfect for viewing Erowal Bay’s spectacular waterfront sunsets while enjoying evening barbecues or sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows.
In summer, the nearby beaches of Jervis Bay will beckon, but children can also paddle directly in our shallow foreshore while you watch and relax nearby. The grassy waterfront reserve is perfect for picnics and playing lawn games. If you are a nature lover, keep an eye out for Jervis Bay’s prolific birdlife with parrots, blue wrens or the bay’s resident ducks and pelicans. You might also spot our resident possum or kangaroos, bandicoots or echidnas wandering about. If all that is not enough, you can always explore the bay using our youth and adult sized kayaks.
Lakehouse at Erowal Bay has an electrical point near the driveway to recharge your car.
