About this property

Our new Big White home-away-from-home is currently being updated, and we apologize that some photos are outdated and blurry (we are adding new photos as we can). The update will include a newly refinished hardwood floor; plus all new: bedding and linens, living room couch & love seat, dining table and chairs, counter stools, granite kitchen sink with updated faucet, all new wall decor, new knobs throughout, new king bed in master, and updated master bathroom countertop. It will be beautiful when it's done! We would love to welcome you to our 3 bedroom, plus den, 3 full-bathroom townhouse over Christmas & New Year's, Family Week, or Spring Break. Ski locker just outside front door for the ultimate convenience.

I'm Laurie, and I'm a gallery artist (maybe you've seen the 2015 pansy postage stamps I designed for Canada Post?), and my husband, Mike, is a mostly-retired family physician. We love spending time outdoors -- hiking, skiing and snowboarding when we're not working (me in my studio painting and my husband either visiting his many longterm care patients or playing guitar in his band).

Why they chose this property

We just purchased this property in September 2020 and are working hard to update it. We can hardly believe it's the same place with just a few of the changes we've made so far! This is the perfect property for us for so many reasons, not the least of which is its great location on the hill and its easy ski in/ski out.

What makes this property unique

The most unique benefits of our property would be: the ski locker located right beside the front door, the private attached garage, the three full bathrooms, the comfortable beds (all mattresses with memory foam toppers), the brand new linens, and all the new furniture and decor. Plus, the hot tub on the deck, with the beautiful view of the Monashee Mountains, is a great place to relax after a day on the slopes.
