Lovely modern apartment where you’ll enjoy all day sun from the porch area with a coffee or a glass of wine while taking in water views across to Motukaraka and the historical Northern Hokianga Harbour. Great sunsets.
A new bed will have you sleeping in relaxing peace and quiet.
Disabled access for walker guests. Large new shower with two hand rails for your safety.
An all weather carport provides easy access via a ramp to the entrance.
A great place to venture out from to Opononi, Omapere , Waipoua State Forest, Kohukohu, Mitimiti, Motuti where Archbishop Pompallier is interred, the Bay of
Islands, Cape Reinga and many more historic locations.
Rawene is an amazing little town to explore....Clendon House, the library, the jail, art galleries, a Puzzle and Game Shop and more.
Try the Fish and Chip shop especially the fresh Hokianga flounder deep fried in batter.
Just an amazing location to relax and recharge in historic Rawene.

Lovely relaxing visit to Hokianga
We had a great stay, chilling out, visited Clendon House where the guide was really knowledgeable about the local history. Accommodation great and my partner slept really well which is unusual.

Stunning views of the Hokianga Harbour
Beautifully located in Rawene overlooking the harbour. Loved our stay. The downstairs self contained unit was well set out, very clean with everything we needed. The little deck outside provided beautiful views while eating El Fresco. Very private, the owners were warm and friendly while leaving us to enjoy our break. Would definitely go back again.😊💕

A wonderful place to stay in the Hokianga. Ideal for a couple wanting a peaceful location. Has everything you may need, making it very comfortable. Karl and Gwen are lovely hosts, but certainly respect your privacy. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice lower apartment with a patio and gardens. Our stay was only one night but we met the hosts and had dinner in town. We really appreciated the snacks and thoughtful touches to ensure we had everything we needed.

What a great place to stay with thoughtful and unexpected extras, crackers and fish were much appreciated and the Kit Kat bars certainly added to our "have a break" time. Attention to detail, and instructions on how to use appliances made this a very comfortable and easy place to stay. My only disappointment was we could not stay longer We will definelty be back for a longer stay Thank You

Ravishing Rawene!
Such a neat, clean, convenient, comfortable apartment!! The views over Hokianga were divine. We cooked a bbq and ate on the deck. Perfect!

This property does have a beautiful outlook and was absolutely spotless. Access to the accommodation was also good from the carport to the door. Lovely helpful owners on sight. Easy walk to town albeit up hill to get back.

Relaxing Rawene
Great location, fabulous views of Hokianga Harbour. Plenty of room, great facilities provided. Hosts were most friendly and helpful, without being at all intrusive. Easy walk from the Rawene shops and harbour front. An absolutely charming and quiet place to stop and relax compared with the business and bustle of nearby Opononi. 100% worth a look!

Immaculate and comfortable
The property was more spacious than I expected. It's obviously been recently painted and carpeted and everything was pristine. The views are amazing. I lay in bed and through the large windows at the foot of the bed watched the sun set over Hokianga harbour and the surrounding hills, and then watched the sun rise in the morning. The place is very peaceful. It only a short walk to the cafes and shop. A really lovely place.

Lovely unit with amazing views of Hokianga Harbour. Very private, exceptionally clean and comfortable with lovely outdoor area and bbq. New queen bed was a bonus. Unfortunately at present Rawene has no restaurants open in the evening but the takeaways are great; the fish was so fresh, and Opononi is only 20 minutes away for those wanting evening entertainment. Gwen and Karl made us feel very welcome and we intend to return to 3 Hamblin Street in the future.

Making Memories
Visited the Hokianga with my 84yr old aunty after many years to see again Omanaia Marae and Urupa. We had a wonderful time (3x days) travelling around together, with aunty telling us lots of stories about our whānau. Hosts Gwen and Karl were fantastic, made us very welcome. Accommodation spotless, all the necessities required provided and available, peaceful and quiet, beautiful views looking out to the Hokianga Harbour. Loved our stay and will definitely book here when we visit Rawene again. Ngā mihi nui 😍

The views from every window were spectacular. We really enjoyed the balcony, sipping wine while watching the sunset. Next morning we were lucky to see a perfect rainbow spanning the water. The property was clean, with many amenities, including a full kitchen. The hostess was helpful and friendly. The wifi stopped working around 9 pm. Apparently there was something wrong with the modem, but we didn’t want to disturb the elderly couple to tell them to fix it, if possible. The apartment is big, but the layout is slightly odd. The bathroom is far away from the bedroom. Everything closes down at 5pm, so there is nowhere to have dinner. The hostess warned us about this, so we managed to get in some food to cook.
