Great little apartment. The owner was more than helpful, and nothing was a problem.
The apartment is perfect for a couple needing to stay in the city. A quirky little place if your not to fussy..
Honestly the biggest issue was the cleanliness. Especially considering we have to pay a cleaning fee, hotels couldn't get away with the levels of dust and grime. Tidy does not constitute clean. The overall state of the place needs a proper clean.
We did our own clean of the shower before we used it, so it was passable. We also had to wash cutlery and bowls before use. Also our bed sheets didn't even fit the bed, they were a double stretched "over" a queen bed.
We would love to give a better review, as the host was exceptional with communication, messaged instructions clearly and with plenty of time ahead. It was a great location within the CBD.

Disgustingly filthy
There was not a single clean surface in this apartment. Everything was filthy. We had to wash the sheets before using them and the bedding was mostly all old and stained. The furniture is dirty and old junk. The owner's stuff is piled everywhere,including baby oil in the bedside table drawers, old food in the refrigerator, clothes in the closet, and personal items everywhere. There was black mould in the shower. The fob for the parking didn't work so we had to park elsewhere and pay for that. When we called the owner to tell him the fob didn't work he put the onus on us to replace the battery but that didn't fix the problem and he did not do anything else to help us. He has not reimbursed us for the battery or the extra parking costs that we incurred. The numbers for setting the oven are all worn off so we had problems using the oven. The carpet has probably never been cleaned. In addition to numerous stains there were also sticky parts. The only good thing about this apartment is the location.
Very helpful owner a pleasure to to deal with. Would stay again and good location and security is very good. Thank you.

A nightmare on Lt Lonsdale Street.
Comfortable beds, good location and close to Southern Cross HOWEVER, this place needs a really good clean.
Towel and bathmat were filthy.
All surfaces from floor to ceiling were grubby.
The balcony doors were that dirty you could barely see through them and chairs outside had mold on them.
Check in process was a hassle and host was 2 hours late and then told us that he would be entering the apartment in the morning while we were still there and negotiated with him and agreed to wash his bedding so he didn't enter the apartment.
Do not at all recommend.
