Horrible Stay

They had duct tape keeping the sliding door together, Master shower was broken and didn't work, there was a active wasps nest in the patio light and couldn't go out to the patio and the microwave was missing the handle, couldn't use it.

Nice Apt. with beautiful sunsets

We enjoyed our stay in this Apt. a lot. What we didn't like was that it wasn't 100% clean. We hab to clean the drawers before we could use them for our clothes.

Awesome Location/Great Unit

This unit is in a perfect location to the beach, tennis/pickleball courts, and the dock on the north side of the island. The unit is very clean and well-stocked with essential supplies. The complex is in a great location at the end of Treasure Island with easy access to the restaurants on St. Pete Beach and Publix on the island. My wife and I stayed the week Hurricane Idalia made its way through the gulf. The people at Sandcastle were very accommodating in allowing us to leave for a couple of days without cost to avoid the hurricane and to come back afterward. Great location and unit. We will definitely be back next year.

Nice but will not go back

Condo in fair condition. View was nice of the gulf but obstructed b/c of the foliage on the dunes. A lot of broken things in the condo (microwave handle/light, master screen slider door, master shower, broken fridge shelf) for the money. The beach was nice but gay beach right next to it- would not go back and do not recommend it for families, a lot of inappropriate activities. Pool nice but kids can’t have toys or use hot tub. Not the best option for families. It’s a nice area but will not pay the money to return to this location.

Building 10 - Unit 204

We had a great time all things considered. We enjoyed the unit and its location and view of the ocean. However, lots of construction going on both on the roof and in the unit above dimmed our overall opinion. Difficult moments ensued for 2 sick members in our group having to be further inconvenienced for almost the entire week by very loud grinding and hammering noise from the unit above between 9:00 a.m. and approx 3:00 p.m. The work on the roof caused a major disruption with the A/C when the work crew accidentally destroyed the wiring to the control box for our unit. The property manager did not hesitate to accommodate an emergency repair after hours. A day or two later a different A/C crew came by and said they needed to turn off the AC for the entire building until 1:00 p.m. This annoyance happened as by this time our sick travelers were running 102 temps. The manager said they couldn't do anything about the construction and maintenance. I disagree as I am aware that technology and communication methods do exist to thwart a lack of coordination within the condo complex. It should be fixed so that potential renters can understand that they might be inconvenienced. Had we known ahead of time we could have chosen a different location. Since there was no notice I think it speaks to an uncaring attitude. The manager did offer a $250 rebate which I rejected as insufficient under the circumstances especially considering the missed opportunity for advanced notification.

Perfect Place to Relax

Lands End #204 is perfectly located on Sunset Beach in Treasure Island. The property is at the very end of the peninsula so it's quiet. The beach was a very short walk from the unit with very few people. The very large pool is located just at the opposite end of the building. The unit was clean and just as described. The porch overlooks the Gulf and is close enough to hear the waves crash on the shore even with all doors/windows closed. There is an elevator in addition to the stairs. My husband can only walk short distances and he had no problem getting to the unit, beach and pool. The walkway to the beach and surrounding the property is well maintained and easy to walk on. If we return to the area in the future, I'll definitely check availability of #204.

Calm and quite

Loved the peaceful nature of the property and the beach was so close. The pool is very nice and big, and never crowded during our stay. The unit could use some updates but we spent most of our time on the beach and walking the trail around The property. The dog beach was also fun for our grandchildren They love animals. It was a Wonderful 2 weeks!!

Spring Break Get Away

We had a great stay at this property. Great location and a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool is right next door to the condo and is a great amenity if the weather is not cooperating for a beach day. Thanks for letting us stay at your property.

Loved everything about our stay!

The condo was clean. Nice furnishings. We enjoyed the beach chairs and beach towels. The gated community was well staffed which was wonderful since I was traveling alone with my 2 daughters. We had a small hiccup and both the property manager and the on call staff from Sandcastle were efficient and helpful. The beach is secluded and this unit is located right by the path to the beach. We loved being on the second floor so we could run up to the condo without using the elevator. We will definitely be back!

Very nice condo on a very quiet area of the beach. Would stay here again.

Our family stayed here for spring break and we were pleased with the condo. It was clean with a nice view of the water. The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of bath towels and beach towels, and 4 beach chairs. The beach is a very short walk on the boardwalk from the condo making it easy to set up for the day and go back and forth for snacks, bathroom, etc. The beach area was very quiet compared to the rest of the St. Pete/Clearwater beaches. We saw manatees and dolphins while on the beach and people were able to catch some small fish. Overall a great experience.
