Summary: Tilsley Inn is situated right in the heart of Glenholme which is centrally located to everything Rotorua has to offer. Walk to town or jump on your bike for a quick ride to either entrances of the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest and hit the trails for the day. The house comfortably sleeps 10 people and has the huge bonus of thermal heating so you can be sure you will be warm and toasty during your stay. You also have a thermally heated spa pool!
The Space: As a typical large home, this place is not perfect. It is older and modestly presented which is what makes it a perfect getaway for larger groups that want to feel comfortable in a more relaxed environment that has some flaws. This is the perfect property for work groups too.
The Neighborhood: Glenholme is very central and puts you within walking distance to the CBD and many of Rotorua's attractions. If staying at Tilsley Inn, you must try the bakerys on Ranolf Street just a short walk from the house - they are both delicious!
Interaction with Guests: We will be available via phone or message during your stay.

It was warm and cosy with the whole house being heated by the continuous hot water heaters around the house, even in the laundry and the garage. We had a pleasant stay

Property was very clean and warm. Overall was great!
Property clean with lots of beds and clean linens. Only one toilet and shower in the house, then there is one toilet in the garage and a shower in a separate laundry room (which we found when we were checking out). Well appointed kitchen and plenty of space for eating, sleeping, meeting.
We were a group of 3 adults & 2 tweens. Bedrooms were all nicely set up. The 4th bedroom had 4 single beds & was large & perfect for the kids also having a large tv & desk space. The lounge was big with very comfortable seating. The kitchen had everything we needed & the laundry was handy also having the 2nd shower. The main bathroom is a little dated but was still good, it has a seperate toilet with hand basin & the 2nd toilet is in the garage which works great being next to spa pool & entertaining areas. A cafe, bakery & shop is a short 5min walk & it’s a quiet neighborhood.
Overall, we were really happy with everything in the property. Close to town and easy to find, heaps of room for us all to spread out, good having extra toilets and showers and lovely neighborhood
We had a great time staying at Tilsley Inn! Its really good to have a place where the whole family can stay together. We were close to all the activities in Rotorua and able to come back in between visiting different places to relax, cook, eat, have a spa and totally recharge. Excellent!
Myself, 2 Daughters, 5 Grandchildren on a short holiday to celebrate a special birthday, we loved the spa, 2 showers and 2 toilets, great with 8 people.Great place, had all we needed and all instructions were clear and straightforward. Nice Place.
We had good time at the house. The house is located very bear to the city in a calm area. The house was very tidy and neat. Sone basic essential supplies were filled in for usage. Only issue i found was operating the tv, i think the batteries of one of the remote was flat. Otherwise we would definitely recommend Anyone especially for a large family as it has ample space for parking and stay
Fabulous communication with owers. Booking was a breeze even with a couple of changes from my end. Suitable for what we needed. Great to have the spa.Clean and tidy.
This is a great place to stay for either a group of friends or a large family. All the mod cons. A nice quiet part of town but still within easy reach. You can even walk if you don't mind taking the time. We were in Rotorua to do some walks so it was all good for us. I'll be definitely returning with my family and grandchildren.

An ok stay
Home was nice although hours before we are due to arrive we get a message that theres a problem with bore and spa and heating wont work. Big disappointment as the spa was a big reason why we booked there. We were offered a discount voucher to a spa place that was not suitable for our babies. When i asked for something else that would better suit our family, i never heard back from anyone. Like i said, the home was nice but the experience overall disappointing.
My family and myself thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay at this beautiful central Rotorua property. The house was larger than we expected it to be with spaciousness rooms and living areas. The hot tub was a highlight of the visit overall. The 2 Showers and 2 seprate toilets (one being located in the in spacious garage away from the main house) were perfect for the 9 of us. Being centrally located it was easy to zip around the busy Rotorua areas.
Good kitchen and appliances with ample utensils and cutlery.
When we visited it was winter time and the house was very warm due to the natural geothermal heating.
Overall we will be back to this lovely property. Booking essential as we can see why this property gets booked easily.
The house was great for a big group of us. Was close to everything we needed and nice and clean. Owners communicated with us with quick responses. Really good experience. The spa pool was divine.
