Gary’s Beach House

A cozy home with beachfront access. Perfect for a short or a long getaway as you have everything you need as if you were home all with a beautiful ocean view. Great for couples, friends, families- this entire house can sleep up to 8 guests. If you are looking for activities- the area is packed with hiking/mountain biking, local shopping, cafes, fishing in rivers/lakes/right out in front of the house in the ocean! Great in the winter for storm watching and in the summer for bird watching, kayaking, and suntanning.

Unique place, deck is the best thing ever, beach access is right there, area has everything within minutes, wifi/tv awesome comfy cozy place we enjoyed ourselves.

Location on the beach, literally off the end of the deck, could not have been more perfect for watching the Christmas Day storm. Quiet, well equipped beach house, spectacular views, moonrise pretty breathtaking. Gorgeous spot!

This little home is so welcoming. The moment you walk in to the warmth of the home and turn the blinds to see the ocean views. You wake up to see the eagles feasting on the beach I. Front of You and the seals coming Close to shore to see what you are up To. Breathtaking. I can’t wait to stay again. Ps: I love the story of the home and Gary.

Staying at Gary's Beach House was relaxing and stress-free. Plenty of extra linens & towels, all standard kitchen equipment & appliances are available to make for smooth cooking away from home, and the view is unbeatable. Thanks for a great stay.

Excellent Location and Deck
Great little gem. We loved this little cottage. Very nicely updated with great deck over looking the ocean. Was pretty toddler friendly too with most of the decor being up high etc. We blocked access to the back for the toddler and he happily played all day on the deck. Nice views and everything you need for a great stay. Having the bunky is a great option as it isa 1 bedroom space.

What a Gem!
The oceanfront location is truly amazing and exceeded our expectations! The properly was clean and well maintained. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 (3 teens) with the bunkhouse. Would definitely return to this location. The owners so so pleasant to deal with. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Amazing Family Getaway!!
We just stayed at Gary’s beach house and absolutely loved it. The kids loved playing on the beach all day. The house is very clean and has so much character, you can feel the amazing energy. We will be back. Thanks Katie & Matt, we had a wonderful time.

We are Katie and Matt, we have a little son who is 1 and another son on the way in April 2021. We also have 2 mini aussie shepherds "Steve & Ruby" and love to spend time outdoors checking out new places, inside having a relaxing netflix night and cooking homemade meals.
We inherited this beach house from our father who owned since 2013 as a vacation renter. He was prepared to retire up at our beach house but unfortunately passed away in 2018. We have spend many trips up in Qualicum Bay and have many memories that will last a life time. We were both born and raised in BC and are currently living in Pitt Meadows. We try to get up to Qualicum as often as we can there are so many things to see and do on Vancouver Island and even right on our property. Qualicum has a special place in our heart and I hope when you visit you experience a relaxing, memorable trip where you and your family/friends can hold close to your heart as well.
