THE SUMMERHOUSE - A spacious peaceful beach-house. Stylish. Comfortable and designed for unwinding. Lots of natural light and wide spaces. Great air flow and green vistas of tall trees . A one minute level walk to the beach. Huge areas of open-plan living and deep verandahs for relaxing on and listening to the waves, and other living spaces for tucking yourself away.
If numbers staying are more than six, approval is needed before booking. Maximum 8 adults in an immediate family, (tops of 10 with children). For non-family groups, limit is 6. Get in contact - larger groups frequently approved when you give us details. Please contact us with an enquiry.
SUITABILITY: The Summerhouse especially suits two or more families or multiple generations holidaying together. Maximum adult limits apply – see above (unless approved in writing before booking).
HUGE LIVING AREA - Fully folding glass doors open to spacious covered verandahs on two sides for relaxing and al fresco meals. Perfect no matter the weather. Chill with family and friends listening to the birdlife. Watch the world go by from the western verandah, also accessed by the master bedroom.
BATHROOMS: NOTE 3 full bathrooms and one separate WC.
* Upstairs ensuite to Main bed. * Upstairs an additional separate WC.
* Downstairs has two bathrooms, one with shower only, the other with shower and a bath.
UPSTAIRS are the verandahs, combined living/dining space with comfy lounge area, 64-inch flat-screen smart TV including Netflix, solid timber dining table (seats up to 10) big kitchen with long central island bench and huge walk-in pantry well stocked with crockery and cooking gear.
Fully equipped kitchen. Large gas BBQ on main verandah.
Also upstairs is the large master bedroom with walk-in robe and ensuite (walk-in-shower and double sinks). Ducted air-conditioning in living area and master bedroom.
DOWNSTAIRS are four bedrooms. Two bedrooms on one hallway share a bathroom. Two bedrooms on the other hallway share another bathroom. (One bathroom has a bath).
Two more living areas have their own split-system air-conditioning. One living area has a TV and lounge space, the other has a food prep area opening to a downstairs covered deck.
Linen and towels are provided, comfy beds are made up ready for your arrival. Linen covers sheet sets, bath towels, hand towels, bath floor mates and tea towels. Please bring your own beach towels.
Basic bathroom and pantry items are provided to support your stay (cooking oils, herbs, flour, sugar, spices, paper towelling etc - a list is provided closer to your arrival day). For littlies - a travel cot & high chair can be made available. For the less stable - a shower chair can be placed in the ensuite. Please request these additional items before arrival, if needed.
Board games for all age groups, novels and cookbooks for adults, children's books. Some beach toys (boogey boards, beach cricket set), folding camp chairs, picnic rug, coolers, provided for your use.
A secure attached carport comfortably fits two large cars, potentially more if smaller cars.
No more than 4 cars to be parked at the property including only one on the street.
No trailers or boats are to be parked at the property.
PLEASE NOTE:
* Names (first + surname) of all adults in your party to be provided before entry day.
* For FRIENDSHIP GROUPS (individuals / unrelated couples) ‘fit’ is important so you can relax and enjoy. Please talk with us about your group through ‘Message to Host’ if you’re wanting more than six people to stay.
* The main kitchen/living area is on the first floor, reached via a straight flight of stairs (no landing in between). Might not be suitable for everyone.
* The house’s outdoor spaces are securely fenced all round, but there is no secure grassed area for younger children to play on.
* Transparent linen fee added to overall accommodation cost (instead of being built in to daily rate), maximum $200 for all beds.
* A $290 cleaning fee is added to the overall accommodation cost.
* Payment warrants that you and all guests and visitors will comply with mandatory guest obligations under the NSW Code of Conduct for Short-term Rental Accommodation. This has obligations to neighbours regarding noise, behaviour, complaints, and obligations to hosts. A copy of these parts of the Code is provided on booking.
OTHER HOUSE RULES:
* No pets large or small
* Non smoking
* No functions, parties, or gatherings with non-guests. You will need to confirm this before entry
* BBQ to be cleaned after use. No portable BBQs to be brought or used
* Additional cleaning fee of $50 will be taken from the damage deposit if he BBQ has to be cleaned by us after you use it or also if food prep leaves spicy food smells requiring additional cleaning measures
* One room behind the kitchen is locked off for owner’s storage and is not accessible
