Great spacious house, overlooking a golfcourse. We had roo's greeting us everymorning. Warm fireplace and fast internet. Just make sure to pack your own linen, towels and bathmats.
Great size house. Good size bedrooms & living spaces. Beautiful outlook towards 18th hole. Plenty of birds & kangaroos. The house needs a good spring clean on the outside. Annoying having to get a gas bottle for barby.
Our overall stay went well and the layout of the house and the bedding was great for adults. (no bunks) plenty of living space, outdoor deck overlooking the golf course and large clean kitchen and bathrooms. We were all very comfortable. The only comment we would make would be to provide extra toilet paper, dish washing machine tables and tea towels etc for short stays. We felt for the cost of the house, more basic amenities could be provided. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay.
Very spacious house, perfect for two families to stay with large bedrooms and two seperate lounge rooms. In a nice quiet street which backs onto the golf course with views of kangaroos in the morning and evening, great fireplace and a short walk to the golf club. We were disappointed in some of the kitchen facilities with limited cleaning products and an oven which was dirty to use. Would suggest bringing all of your own kitchen cleaning supplies such as dish cloths, washing detergent, dishwashing tablets etc.
Bad smell in stairwell (rotten fish) - better value for money not anymore
Location and space of the property are outstanding
However there was a really bad lingering smell of rotten fish in the stairwell leading to the upstairs bedrooms. In my opinion this Property does not give you value for money anymore (we have stayed there 3 times and won't be back). As some reviewers mentioned previously, some basic items are not supplied or only a minimum amout i.e. 1x Garbage bag, 1x teatowel, no shower matt, etc
It seems the upkeep of the property is not a priority either for example: wholes in the flywire have not been looked at for the last 3 years, sticky fly wire sliding doors, main blind in sitting-room can not be shut, the state of cleanliness is not what we expected for a property of this price.
We found the house to be exactly what we wanted being 10 adults but the down side was that the three toilets had only half rolls of toilet paper and no replacements so we had to purchase some as well there was no sponge to hand wash dishes and there was holes and stains on the blankets. No heating to any of the bedrooms they were freezing, would not return to this house.
I like the place but the neighbours were very rude as we didn’t know that they were playing golf we saw the kangaroos and tried to take some photos one of the ladies said to stay in as the ball will hit us and she asked us have you come here to kill your self. The place did not have like small things no toilet papers , no tea towel, no hair dryer, no heating in the rooms it was very cool , unlucky we didn’t have kids otherwise the kids will not able to go out to play , no pantry cupboards to put r things , for fresh there were not tea bags or coffee I have been so many places in each house they got tea , coffee , no mats in the bathroom, etc
Great family accommodation with 5 great bedrooms and large living and outdoor spaces.
Once we found exactly what we were looking for, a property that accommodates 10 adults and a baby, it was all very straightforward to book, checkin and checkout. Very successful weekend away!!!
This house was perfect for us , few group of friends wanting to enjoy the surroundings of Anglesea, Torquay ect . Would definitely consider staying here again .
Spacious, family friendly but lacked basic amenities
Location and size of place made our stay comfortable. The place had a great setup and was super spacious for the family but lacked some really basic amenities like tea, coffee and sugar. It was also bitterly cold in the bedrooms at night. The house was generally clean, but some areas had clearly been missed.
We had a great stay with other couples and their children. Very quiet and enjoyed seeing the kangaroos on the golf course near by. Only downside was no matches, no heating in the bedrooms and no cleaning chux to
wipe down benches. The layout of the house was great for little ones to be napping away from the main area of the house.
Overall very good, but no TV reception and internet was not strong. Outside deck is set amongst gum trees and shrubs, with a very sunny outlook and protected from the west wind. Would definitely consider coming back.
We loved our stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, all the appliances and the BBQ worked well.
The view from the deck was brilliant. We enjoyed watching the Kangaroos hopping near by. We will be back for sure.
Please note if you are coming for the first time there are no sheets (linen advised by the property) no bath mats, towels or hand towels. No hand soap, shower gel, or sponges for cleaning. Remember to bring your own.
Everything about the house was as described.A terrific outdoor area for casual conversation and meals. The house worked for us and we completely enjoyed our stay.
Great house in nature by the 18th hole of the course course
Spacious home in a quiet street. Different zones if needed for adults and kids. Great deck overlooking the golf course with lots of wildlife, especially kangaroos. Short drive to numerous great beaches and nature walks. And a well equiped kitchen that is always a great bonus. Very pleasurable stay. Thanks.
This was a great house for our group of 5 couples. The house was spacious and comfortable - actually an improvement on what I was expecting from the photos. The views over the golf course and the short walk to the golf club for dinner were a bonus!
