About this property

Paradise and Privacy at the Lake

This property boasts a lovely three bedroom home with ample space for entertaining and having family and friends enjoy the amenities. The house is situated with the glorious views of Lake Erie from many locations; we own to the waters edge. We have built concrete stairs for your safety to get down to the water. The back yard offers lots of room and comfortable seating. Come and sit by the fire!
We are also close to small rivers and a bay that you can use for launching canoe or kayak.
There is a wonderful park at the end of the street where the children will love to play. In the winter, over Christmas, there is a fabulous winter wonderland.

Girlfriend's getaway
Perfect location on quiet street with lakeview. Great area for evening walks and into downtown Kingsville. Lots of rooms to spread out in. Great hostess provided lots of little extras. 3 levels with a few stairs so not suitable for folks with mobility issues. Would definitely come back again.

This lovely home is located on a quiet street overlooking the lake. You are right outside Lakeside Park and within walking distance to town. The house has all the amenities to make your stay easy. We did have a couple of issues but they were quickly addressed by Belinda. We hope to return in the future.

Beautiful property
This was our 2nd time staying in Kingsville. First time we stayed at The Grove and this time we wanted to stay in a house that we could have our kids and dogs. I dealt with Belinda who was very quick to respond to any questions we had and very pleasant. The home was very spacious and the yard was beautiful. We spent a lot of time on the large back deck which you could see the lake from out front which was beautiful. We had a bonfire every night and lots of seating for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and we opened the windows mostly since there was a beautiful breeze coming through. We went for a walk just down the road to the beautiful park and trail. I don’t have any complaints but if I was to say anything is maybe a lighter paint to brighten up a couple rooms and more beach theme . Other then that we can’t wait to stay again .

Paradise on the Lake
Our second, but not last, visit to Kingsville. The location is beautiful, the view endless. Proximity to Point Pelee National Park makes this a great homebase for hiking, kayaking and birding. Watersports are at your doorstep, but so is a lively downtown, golfing, and biking on the old railbed. Lots to do, but the house also has a beautiful backyard for relaxing and barbecuing. Sitting by the lake with a beverage is also a favourite pastime! We were sad to leave, but are looking forwards to returning. Our hosts were readily available before, during and after our stay, and the house is very well appointed. All you need to bring is food and family, and you are set.

Fantastic home on the lake
A very well appointed lakefront home welcomed us for a week in August. There is so much to see and do in the area, vineyards, golf, water sports, cycling, Point Pelee, just to name a few. There's also sitting by the lake enjoying doing nothing, or reading while grilling out on the large deck overlooking a large yard, the firepit in the yard waiting for nightfall. We loved our stay so much that we are going back for two more weeks this year, and looking at two weeks next year as well. Don't let this one slip away...

Great vacation home for family or a group of friends!
Belinda reached out to me before our stay with detailed instructions and information about checkin procedure. The home was spotless and everything was as advertised. Conveniently located right at the edge of the water the house was much bigger than expected and has a lot of character. The backyard is also exceptionally large and great for a bomb fire! Neighbours are also lovely and the area is quite quiet and peaceful. Can’t wait to return next summer! A highly recommended location and great host!

Fantastic location, generously appointedwith lake house nostalgia.
Fantastic location! Fully equipped. Large back yard with huge deck. Walk to many restaurants in Kingsville or brings the kids to the splash pad in the park steps away. The house has everything you need, tonnes of space and is filled with classic bygone lakehouse decor. A treasure.

Very Beautiful and Relaxing Get Away
The home is located in a beautiful and quiet location. The property is well kept and allowed us to just enjoy ourselves. A great area to walk our dog and meet other dog owners. The host was very attentive to all of questions. A place we're planning on returning to!

My husband and I fell in love the Kingsville area in 2015 and wanted to spend more time there. We purchased a small property in Harrow to allow us that opportunity. However, the home was too small for our family and therefore, we purchased this greatly desired location in 2019 with a goal to retire there when the time comes. In the meantime, we decided that we would rent it out so others could enjoy what we love so much. It means a great deal to us that people enjoy the home and the area.
As with any home, we wanted to make changes to make it ours. There were multiple plots of bamboo, a highly pervasive plant, in the gardens, which we have largely removed. We removed carpets and installed hardwood and ceramics, and built a vestibule where the dogs can dry off after playing outside. We built concrete stairs down to the lake. We want you to enjoy our home safely.
There is a pull out sofa in the Florida Room, in addition to the three bedrooms.

Why they chose this property

This home is on one of the most desirable streets in the town of Kingsville. Although it is on the water and you have access by foot, you are not at risk for flooding or storm damage. If you have a boat, it will need to be launched at one of the sites along the coast.
A 15 minute walk will take you in to town where there are restaurants, wine bars and craft beer. There are also shops for browsing. In the summer months, there are multiple vendors of fresh fruit and vegetables. Artists love our area and we have many living right here - you can buy their works at various locations.
While our street is not private, it feels like it is. The neighbours are friendly and helpful if you need anything. There is some vehicle and foot traffic because the street has the best view of the lake.
A large park is located at the end of the street. The children love to play there. In 2022 they will have a splash pad in the park. We love to walk the dogs there - winter boasts a light show.

What makes this property unique

I think that the property is special because of the location, the neighbourhood and the access to everything that you could need.
We have often rented to larger families and to workers who need to be in the area. Whatever your needs, I believe they an be met at our property.
