Located in the Historic District, The Homestead estate consists of two private homes (The Main House and The Carriage House) two cottage suites (The Stables # and #2) and is ideal for couples, groups, families, or friends to enjoy all of downtown Fredericksburg.

The Carriage House is privately situated behind the Main House and consists of three bedrooms (two kings, two twins), two luxurious granite and marble baths, a well-appointed kitchen, dinning room, and living area. Enjoy two private outdoor gathering areas, one of which has a fire pit and one on the covered porch.

The driveway provides room for two assigned off-street parking spaces. This prime location simply cannot be beat. Being within one block of Main St. Shops, Wineries, and restaurants area all just a few minutes walk out the front door!

Cute house great location walking distance to downtown

This property was great. Clean, comfortable beds and nice updated bathrooms. The only thing lacking was there was no window covering on the front door, which made our group of 4 girls feel a bit unsafe. Other than that it was great!

Great Location!

We loved the property, however the guests in the main house took all of the parking spaces which made it inconvenient for us when leaving and returning to the house.

Amazing!

Location was amazing. Beds were amazing. Outdoor fire pit area was amazing. We had the best time celebrating my 40th birthday. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Fredericksburg stay

Property was nice and new we enjoyed our stay after the initial problems at checkin. When we arrived house was not cleaned and a mess from previous guest. The property managers claimed to not know we were coming. After we waited 30 minutes a cleaning crew showed up and informed us it would be several hours more before it was ready.

Great house, perfect location

Really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was so clean, cute, and the location was great! This was almost the ideal rental, except the wifi is not great. As I was traveling for work, I expected a property with wifi to have wifi. It was a pain to connect as you have to enter your name, email, and phone number every time, and it barely loaded one page before disconnecting. Fantastic property otherwise — a great stay for someone who isn’t dependent on wifi!

Very pretty place

The house was very pretty but there was no internet wifi for our use or for the property TV, and as recommendation a back patio light and a bbq pit would’ve been awesome. Overall it was great. Thank you.

Great place

Very clean place. Had everything that was needed. Check in and out was super easy. Only negative was very slow internet and the TV would not work correctly. Great place highly recommend

Outstanding Property

Outstanding property that I have already shared with friends and family. The Carriage House is absolutely lovely and in the perfect place for ease of getting around Fredricksberg. The staff available with the phone number were gracious and most helpful when I had a couple of senior moments. We will definitely try to stay here again.

Fun Getaway!

The property is very well-maintained and decorated. It provided plenty of space for my family during our stay. It's only a block away from the main street and we could walk to most places we planned to visit in town. A very easy drive to Enchanted Rock for the day as well. We had hiccups with an incorrect check-in code and needed assistance with the wifi as well. The management team was quick to help and it was resolved easily. We would stay here again!

Valentine's Day Freeze

We, my husband and two other couples, stayed here for our Valentines' get away weekend, which turned in to a freeze in. We found the house to be as advertised. It was clean and comfortable. The heater worked! The internet was a bit sketchy, but overall, I would recommend this place and stay there again.

Great new place

Exceptionally clean and nice, newly built property. Physically connected to the front house but never saw anyone else. Perfect place for family of 5 to stay, walked around the block and across street to shops and food. House was well stocked and nicely furnished.
