Beautiful new village apartment with roof deck- stone bath, 360 views & more

Firstly we will give 100% refund for COVID lockdown cancellations. We will also try to accomodate early checkin and late checkout when possible.
We are really proud to release our new apartment. Stunning fit out, with features such as polished concrete walls, beautiful carpet and floor boards. Located in the main street of Barwon Heads -just park the car undercover and walk to shops, restaurants, Barwon River, choice of beaches, IGA and Golf courses. Perfect for 2 couples or family with 2 children- not toddlers as there are stairs into the property and a spiral staircase up to the rooftop deck. This has daybed, table and chairs, bath, shower, kitchen including bbq and fridge. We love to travel and have used our experience of properties to include everything we can think of to make your stay relaxing. Our pricing includes all bed linen, bath and Beach towels PLUS fluffy Bath Robes. Beautiful decor with really comfy beds, throw rugs, games and books, a fully stocked kitchen for those who like to cook (the IGA and Bennos the butcher make this an easy task!) and the wine shop right across the road is a gift! Friends, guests and family who have stayed so far have loved it here and let us know we have thought of everything!

Great stay in Barwon

We (2 couples) had a fabulous stay over a very hot long weekend- the A/C got lots of use along with the fabulous roof top deck at night. The very comfortable apartment had everything we needed and more, including hosts that provided lots of information on the local area and enabled a late checkout. Highly recommended

Perfect place in the perfect location

What a great find in Barwon Heads. Perfectly located in the Main Street. The unit is stunning. It has everything you need for a weekend or a longer stay. We didn’t t get to utilise the roof top area, but I’m sure it would be great in summer. Just a very tight set of stairs to access it. We appreciated the extra little things Tim left for us eg wine, local beer and chocolates. Those little extras that make your stay even more special. Car park a little tight if you have a big car. But there is always parking out front of the unit. We loved this unit and hope to return again sometime soon.

Barwon Heads Bliss

Everything about this whole experience was amazing. I can not recommend Hitchcock Haven enough. Tim & Liz have though of everything and provided it for you, even a little booklet of all the best places to go. The apartment is clean, bright and airy, and you want for nothing. The king sized bed was hands down the best bed I've ever slept in, so much so, I've ordered one for myself. Thank you for sharing this beautiful space with me. I will definitely be back. (10 stars out 5)

We had a lovely stay at Hitchcock Haven. It's a lovely welcoming apartment, in a great position and with lovely eateries very close by. We enjoyed our walk beside the ocean even though the weather wasn't great. The lovely toiltries were very much appreciated along with our treats!! Very relaxing and enjoyable all round. We'd thoroughly recommend it to everyone ☆☆☆☆☆

Expectations Exceeded!

We absolutely loved our stay at Hitchcock Haven. The apartment is beautiful, comfortable and so clean. Tim and Liz were brilliant with communication and the whole process, from before check in to check out, was seamless! Great location with access to the delightful village of Barwon Heads, coffee and yummy treats right across the road. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Coastal Retreat

Everything about this stay was easy. The accom was luxe and so beautiful. Walking distance to shops, food, restaurants and the beach. Park the car and enjoy a true break.

Perfect getaway

Tim and Liz have thought of the little things that make a a getaway that little bit special. The location of the property is in the heart of town, yet its lovely and quiet and you feel like you're in a luxury hotel with the little touches they've included - not to mention the comfortable beds, the bath tub and the giant TV which was perfect for football World Cup viewing! We had a great time.

Right in the heart of Barwon Heads

Great property, right in the heart of Barwon Heads village. Very comfortable,2 bedrooms each with its own ensuite plus full kitchen. Host provided a lovely and local range of goodies as a welcome pack. A fairly steep spiral staircase led to a rooftop area with tub, BBQ and day lounge. This property is not suitable for those who can’t do stairs but as 2 seniors in our mid 70’s, we enjoyed our time here and appreciated the host being a available for any questions

Perfect weekend getaway

We couldn't have wanted or asked for more. The location is perfect for a relaxing weekend away all within walking distance of the water & shops. Hitchcock Haven is just that!

My family were in Barwon Heads for a wedding and chose to stay at this townhouse on Hitchcock Avenue. It is well located close all cafes and walking distance to all that Barwon Heads has to offer. The townhouse is very spacious, clean and extremely well appointed. Everything a family needs is available. Tim was easy to communicate with and access is well versed. We hope to be able to return in the near future.

Perfectly equipped unit, great hosts

A luxurious unit in a central but quiet location, the place is perfectly equipped, from quality appliances to the little things such as the thoughtful set of emergency items for forgetful guests (sewing kit, shoe polishing cloth, toothbrush etc.). The same loving attention to detail visible in the equipment of the unit can also be seen in the care that the owners Liz and Tim take to have it spotlessly clean for their guests and to be excellent hosts. They went out of their way to be helpful and make our stay enjoyable, even responding to an SMS on Christmas Day. We have been visiting Barwon Heads and surroundings once or twice a year for the last few years. This has easily been the best accommodation we have ever booked in the area. We'll be back next year, if possible.

Absolutely Fabulous

We had a fantastic stay. The host’s attention to detail was brilliant - lovely bathroom products, bath robes, luxury bedding and towels and perfectly equipped BBQ facilities upstairs. The bath on the roof is fantastic too. The best rental ever. Just note that the stairs to the balcony is a tight spiral. Thanks Tim.
