An Awesome Place to Stay with your pets!

We reserved this property for 3 nights, stayed for 2 and had a total of 9 guests in our party. Overall, the house was clean and the views are of the lake are very nice. The best and most innovative part of this property is the pet friendly area. They created a great space for our pets, very nicely done! Lots of tv access. The pool, ping pong, and foosball tables were good entertainment. We were disappointed with the condition of the hot tub. Upon arrival we opened the hot tub and the water was an off-colored, yellowish color and there was an odd smell. We have a hot tub personally and know how a well-maintained hot tub should be. We were not comfortable getting in. In addition, there appeared to be a leak in the hot tub as we noticed water collecting and running from under it and it had lost considerable water by the time we left and there was exposed wiring running from the back of the hot tub. The air vents do not run into all of the downstairs bedrooms, but there are ceiling fans. However, there was only one remote for all three fans. It was difficult to cool down. The bedroom next to the laundry room is supposed to have a queen size bed. The box spring was queen, but the mattress was a full size mattress. The upstairs room was very comfortable to sleep in. The kitchen and living room with balcony were wonderful places to hang out. Overall, we enjoyed our weekend and stay here.

Friends Gathering

Great stay, great place

a 4 night stay for family to relax and hopefully watch the eclipse. It was perfect! Everyone enjoyed the house, the locale and the eclipse, from the youngest to the elders.

Great place to get away for the weekend!

We had a wonderful time when we stayed. Beautiful location. The only thing that was unexpected was that while pet friendly, the back yard is not fully fenced so if you bring a dog and its not under voive command and/pr doesnt have great verbal recall I would recommend bringing a long leash so as not not to bother the neigbbors.

Perfect Getaway

This house was perfect for our family and furry family members. We had everything we needed including fans and extra blankets. The view is amazing and even better from the hot tub! The host was very responsive. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

The pictures of property were misleading. Top level has some quirky construction issues, lower level is nicely updated. Main door entrance keypad malfunctioned, broken exterior door lock on sliding doors lower level, mattresses were uncomfortable with poor quality linens. Multiple lights and light switches not working, Oddly placed light switches especially upstairs. Stairs to downstairs are not safe with loose trim on landing, very steep with poor lighting. Beware if you have young children or disabled family members. The pool/game area was not accessible during our stay. Property instruction manual has minimal information, recommend adding information regarding remote controls for operating heating and cooling units and how to access game room area. Outdoor fishing gear was very limited with a mostly empty tackle box, corn hole bags were under deep pile of leaves with the yard needing a limb and leaf clean up. Gate driveway does not have a sensor to open when exiting property from inside. Luckily the lake view was lovely even though the HWY 51 bridge is much closer and noisier than expected. Pet friendly for small dogs with a nice fenced in area from top floor/deck area.

Lake Getaway

This is an older, but well maintained property which has some really nice entertainment (pool and ping pong tables, hot tub, putting green) plus the dock with an amazing view of Lake Granbury. We were very pleased with our stay here and there was little that we would change. We had a roach that paid us a call in the kitchen so I would recommend an exterminator visit.

Everything you could ever need and then some

I wish we stayed longer to enjoy the game room, board games, kayaks and fishing gear. Our friends and I chose this house because it was close to a race event. There was a lot of room for all of us to spread out and be extremely it was comfortable. The view of the lake is incredible ! I’d love to return some day.

A Lakeside Haven of Tranquility and Comfort!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this gem of a property nestled on the shores of a pristine lake, and to say that it exceeded our expectations would be an understatement. The home itself is spacious, immaculately clean, and adorned with cozy, modern furnishings that make you feel right at home. Each room is designed with comfort in mind, and there is a seamless blend of indoor and outdoor living spaces. We were especially fond of the expansive patio, which offered uninterrupted views of beautiful Lake Granbury.

Nice older home right on the lake and close to downtown

Quiet neighborhood- many homes are being updated in this area, but have some older properties mixed in. Great home for families, very dog friendly. Lots of activities and areas to entertain everyone. Only a few miles from downtown and the square. Property has everything you need and plenty of supplies. Loved the gate and security setup.

Girls trip was a success!

Myself and 5 other gals stayed 2 nights here and had a blast! We were not able to take advantage of all the property had to offer due to the extreme heat, but we'll likely be back! The downstairs freezer doesn't seem to be working correctly, but other than losing a couple bags of ice, it wasn't a big deal since we used the upstairs one. The king bed upstairs is AMAZING and I would love to find out the brand, since I forgot to look. All in all, a great weekend. Can't wait to come back in the late spring/early summer time to take full advantage!

Wonderful week-end home.

This property was very clean and cool in this Texas heat. We enjoyed the privacy of having 2 bedrooms on the bottom level with a large bathroom in addition to the main bedroom and bathroom on the main level. After our day in the boat, our family enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. (The water was cool so it was enjoyable.) The property manager was responsive in answering our questions. Wonderful week-end home.

An Honest Review

We stayed 3 nights with a family of 4; 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We had fun! Here are a few things in no particular order that others might want to know about. - The location right on the water is nice! - The property is older, but has been updated in many areas, not all. - There are a lot of stairs throughout the property. If you have trouble with stairs, don’t stay here. - In the interior stairwell, there is a light that cannot be turned off. It was very, very bright at night when trying to sleep. We covered it & started calling it “the light of 1000 suns!” - There are TVs everywhere! - There is a countertop ice maker that comes in handy! - The two kayaks were fun! - We caught several catfish (using our own fishing gear) off the boat dock, but that was it. No bass or crappie to be found. - There is fishing rods on property, but it’s all old & cheap rods. - All the rooms are snug, & the lower level has very low ceilings. - There is no dining area indoors besides 3 seats at the kitchen island. - The water right off the boat dock is not suitable for swimming. There are lots of branches, stumps, metal poles, & other debris that could injure swimmers. - The AC units are complicated to work. There’s a central unit & then wall units also. Some of the wall units work in Fahrenheit & some work in Celsius. The modes on the remote control don’t always seem to work properly. - The dog run was great for our dog! - All other activities & amenities were fun too

A calming, relaxing vacation

Great place to just relax on the lake. The outside porch is so nice when the sun goes down. We had kids and being able to have kids downstairs while adults upstairs is great. Pleanty of room for the eight of us. Love that its easy to keep yourself entertained on the property.

Enjoyed!

Property was great for the teens and young adults to hangout downstairs and have their separate space while adults could chill upstairs. Very pet friendly. Kitchen was fully stocked. Great views and access to the lake. Would stay again. We also enjoyed the game room and got lots of laughs out of family time in there. There are also plenty of hangout spots outside and the grill worked great too.

Perfect for family with teens

The property was exactly what we needed. Plenty of activities for our kids. Boat ramp was super close. Plenty of room for us to tie up our boat at the dock. Great easy access from house to boat. Our kids each had a friend, so the house layout and the additional game room was perfect. We would have stayed longer, but it was already booked.

Relaxing little getaway

We really needed a little getaway to just relax and spend time with our kiddos. We are all so busy and do alot of traveling for work and wanted to go somewhere closer and not travel far. This place was perfect ! Right on the water. Kids and husband did some fishing and relaxing in the jacuzzi. The play room was fun for the kids and we weren't far from town so we did a little shopping as well. Will definitely recommend!

Dinosaur Valley

Went to dinosaur park stayed here for a couple days and nights. Was a great place to be. The house is very cool. Would definitely recommend this place
