Ideal spot close to everything you need. Cameron was very accomodating and provided requested items missing from the property when we first arrived. We had the most relaxing time, paddleboarding and lazing on the deck or lying on the sun lounges under the trees. Wonderful bird life to watch and a gorgeous dog friendly beach a 10min walk.
Property located right on the river. Fantastic veranda to relax and watch the river flow by, bird life, swans, and jumping fish!!.Kids able to access canoe, kayak, access 2 lakes easily. Also amazing park, good for all ages including tween/teens just down the road.Range of life jackets available. Also had fishing gear which we didn't use.Property, very light and nicely decorated. Beds comfortable. We had 2 families, with older kids here and it was ideal.Easy drive to many local beaches.Kitchen, sparse with pantry items, but shops minutes away. Owners could include a few more bowls for visitors convenience.
The property is as stated in the listing. Nice and local to fantastic fishing spots. Close to pub and few shops with only min walk. Property offers few water toys listed which was great for the kids. The property manager was quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely come back for fishing with boys again.
Location is great, lake at back door, good food is a 3 minute walk away, paddle boards and surf skis were great fun, spa needs a bit of time to heat up, so plan ahead there. All in all great place to stay, hope to return one day.
We had a great time at this property, something for everyone! The kayaks and SUP's were perfect for the teenagers and the back deck a perfect place for the adults to relax. Kitchen has everything you need, very clean and tidy. Top bunk bed doesn't have a guard rail if that's important to you. We definitely hope to stay here again!

Great location
I have generously given 3 stars due to location however with some improvement this property has the potential to be amazing. The photos online are not a true representation of the actual property. Some of the furniture is very different and the cleanliness needs some attention. All the bins were full outside so we had to take our own rubbish away with us. Looks like the people before us had a few parties as lots of empty alcohol bottles. There is a very old ratty caravan right next to the front door, that looks to be used for storage, as is under the house, down the side and parts of the verandah making it feel very untidy and unkept. Some of the floorboards on back deck are old and loose and nails were used to put it on rather than screws which makes it look and feel cheap and in parts a little dangerous. It has the smallest TV I have ever seen in the small lounge area. The outdoor lounge area had stains on the covers.
I had to buy some tea towels and dish cloths to wash up.
I expected a compendium or even just a one pager in the house with basic information on how things worked, like the TV, washer, Wi Fi password but there was nothing.
I was very disappointed on how the property was presented given the cost per night and don’t think I would stay here again or recommend to family or friends.
However we made the most of it and enjoyed fishing from the backyard straight onto the lake (even though there was just one chair on it and needs repair)
Property owner seemed nice enough via text message and responded quickly when asked a question however he could make this place amazing with a bit of love and attention to the details and presentation.
Oh and also not a fan of cameras set up on properties, not sure if this is normal but was very off putting. I understand the one on the front verandah pointing down the driveway for security purposes, but was offended by the one on back verandah overlooking the entertaining area and we covered it with a hand towel until we departed. :-(
Very generous 3 stars but my husband wanted to give only 1 star.
Great location, great communication with owner, great equipment for kayaking, only concerns were the lounge was too small to have all guest enjoy TV, it advised DVD player but there wasnt one on arrival, however a quick call and Cameron delivered one the next day. Was surprised on arrival to find wet towels rolled and placed on our beds and the towels hanging up in bathroom were all soaking wet, luckily there was a dryer in laundry.
The property was lovely, clean and neat with a lot of inclusions. The location was peaceful with alot of bird life. Very close to shops and restaurants.
Only suggestion would be to include flyscreens on windows and doors so that they could be opened for fresh air as there is no air-conditioning and the inside was a little stuffy and the doors couldn’t be opened because of the mozzies.
Well located property with a relaxing outlook, pet friendly and fairly well equipped. It was hard to find the wifi and tv instructions. While beds was very comfortable and a great hot shower, presentation of outside of property could have been improved with grass mowed, cobwebs cleaned and damaged front gate fixed to enable proper locking and dog retention. As per the photos a dining area on the outdoor deck would have been useful.
Whilst the owner cannot be responsible for the weather we still managed to have a pleasant time. Suggestions Screen doors at the front and back to let the breeze come through the house, maybe an small conditioner in the large bedroom, as the humidity was so high, it was very diffiult to sleep despite the ceiling fans. Also a book about the property and where everything is located would be a good addition. Overall, the property is lovely, host was very obliging and despite the weather we enjoyed our little getaway.
Lovely relaxing getaway. Enjoying using blow up paddleboards everyday
Clean interiors, well equip kitchen and new paddle boards. Did not use big kayak or small ones and did not use outside cushioned couches. Bed sheets and interior couch new and clean. Enjoyable overall!
Loved our stay at this property. Spent most of the time on the back deck looking over the water. Lots of birdlife, fed ducks and pelicans. Can throw a line in from the back yard. Short walk to shops and dog beach. Owner pleasant to deal with.
