Unusually charming house and garden in 20 acres surrounded by open country, rolling hills, small river good for swimming (a bit of a scramble to get down to bathing platform)
The house is absolutely beautiful with great furniture and very stylish deco. Kitchen is great with everything you need to cook. We were 2 families and it was perfect. The only thing to be aware of is that one of the main bedrooms is in a separate section with its own front door which if you have very small children (under 5??) might be a problem. It wasn't a problem for us. Would definitely recommend the house to people who are looking for a quiet stay away from the hustle. There were also very friendly horses which the kids loved and the lovely town Dungog is only 7 min away and has everything you need in terms of restaurants and groceries.
A magical spot to relax or enjoy the areas walking/riding/fishing/canoeing etc.
The home is incredibly comfortable. It has everything you need and so many different areas to enjoy.
Dungog is a terrific base for provisions as well as retail therapy.
Thank you Toni & Murray for sharing this wondeful space you have created.
We loved staying here. Great set up for adults, teens and dogs alike. Wonderful river and bike riding access. Beautiful part of the world. And the house is so nicely thought out, decorated and provisioned. Thank you Toni and Murray!
Peaceful location on a beautiful river that was perfect for swimming and kayaking. Very comfortable well equipped house and garden. Kingaley was the ideal escape for a relaxing weekend with friends and family. Wonderful hosts make the booking and stay that much easier.
We had a wonderful birthday weekend away at Kingaley …. Great location, great views & great house. Weather was so rainy- so we read/ played board games whilst hearing the cows in the distance… wound definitely recommend
We had a lovely stay, the property is so well equipped, well maintained, clean & comfortable. The fire kept us all warm & cosy & the dogs had a ball. Thanks Toni
Kingaley is a wonderful quiet place to holiday with family or just a couple. All aspects of the home are thoughtfully appointed, and are comfortable and relaxed, with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces to be together or alone. The gardens and surrounds and river & valley views are large and peaceful. Indoor combustion stoves and outdoor fire pit are well stocked with wood and make night-times lovely.
Seriously good bushwalking and cycling are close-by activities.
Such an enjoyable place for active people who also like relaxing together somewhere lovely.
