Nice cabin to get away from the city.

The cabin was nice, located down a 2 mile dirt road. There are a few camp sites located on the property behind the cabin and the path that lead to them run a small dirt road a few feet from the cabin driveway and we were not aware of that prior to check in. There is a small creek behind the cabin that is able deep and once you cross that you can follow the path to the camp sites behind the cabin that are situated on the river. The property was clean and furniture was very comfortable, the enclosed patio furniture was covered in Pollen but that is to be expected and it was easy to clean off. The grill on the back deck was broken. The igniter was ripped out and while we could open the propane valve and smell the propane we could not light the grill with matches or a lighter gun and opted to just cook our steaks on a cast iron pan. There is no wifi so it was a good chance to unplug and relax away from the city. At night you can see the stars and constellations. We came to the cabin to see the solar eclipse and it was amazing. Aside from the issue with the grill we had a great time taking walks around the property, letting our corgis run around, played a bunch of board games, and just enjoyed the quiet. If you're looking for a nice quiet getaway, this place is good for it.

A great stay on the Fourche La Fave

We spent a week at this beautiful property with our pups and would highly recommend it. The house was a well furnished, clean ranch home with everything we could have needed for the stay. We spent a few days on the river, fishing, swimming and kayaking with our pups. The fishing was great for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, various sunfish and some big drum! The location was perfect as a hub for adventures in the surrounding area among the Ouachita Mountains. The host was very friendly and accommodating while providing us with several tips to more enjoy the area. We hope to revisit it in the future!

Very Pleasing Stay!

The property is spacious and secluded with beautiful river frontage. Our group of friends had plenty of space to offload our side x sides and park. The home was well furnished and comfortable, and we enjoyed spending evenings on the open deck around the fire pit. The host was helpful and accessible when we needed him. Fourche Mountain Trail is just a few miles down the highway and has great trails to ride! We will definitely stay here again when we return!

Perfectly secluded

Absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Although we only used the home to sleep it was perfect. Amazing location, the rover was stunning and the property offered easy access. The home had everything we needed to make the 4 day stay complete.

Great Place for a Relaxing Weekend

Spent the weekend with some friends getting away from the busyness of life. Property is great and peaceful. House was clean and well kept. Perfect patio space for taking a nap or sitting by the fire.

Beautiful property

We really enjoyed the cozy space with parents. And the enclosed patio offered a comfortable - COVID safe - area to visit with extended family who live nearby. While the entry would be considered ‘level’ for most people, navigating in and out of the house did prove a challenge for my mother. We enjoyed the surrounding beauty of the area. The owner/property manager is very friendly.

Really awesome place

We are from Texas and love visiting Arkansas. This place was a hit for the adults, kids, and our dogs! My five year old loved all the games, and we all enjoyed walking the property. Will be back!

Fishing Cabin

We stayed in this cabin for two nights with our 4 kids. The cabin was clean but it seemed as if there was a lack of attention to detail. Our expectations were higher as the nightly rate was high for the for the area. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, no shades in two of the three bedrooms, the kitchen was sparsely stocked, the outside firepit barely had a flame and the dryer took hours to dry a load of clothing (we finally went outside to check the vent and cleaned the outside vent by hand to get it working). The cabin itself was clean, including the bathrooms, and the a/c functioned well. The property was peaceful. The river was about a 5 minute walk from the house. One thing to note is that there is no designated river access. You need to climb down a bank in order to access the river. This was not a problem for us.

Nice

Went with our Family of four to the cabin and stayed for a long weekend. The location is very quiet and the pictures are accurate. Nothing super fancy but everything worked great and had all the things needed for a weekend exploring this part of the national forest. Cool spot

Beautiful!!!!

Wow! What a beautiful location! The updated house has all the necessary amenities, along with stylish decor and comfortable accommodations. It was perfect for our motorcycle group's home base while riding in the mountains for the weekend! We were careful and went slow on the unpaved road leading out to the house, so we were completely fine coming and going. There was plenty of room for us to gather when not riding and enjoy being at the house. The host was easy to reach when needed. We'll definitely return next year!

Great stay with a surprise

Overall great stay. Secluded in woods but we were not aware that there is no internet whereas vrbo ad said there is internet. Be aware of this. If you plan to work from there (covid world), you wont be able to. Other than this we liked this place.

Poor Customer Service and Not Very Clean

We received an email from Evolve following our stay asking to rate our visit. The email stated that if we rated anything less than 5 to contact them directly. The following is the content of the email to Evolve. After almost 2 weeks and a second email asking if they were going to reply, there has been no communication. We originally would have rated a 3, but due to Evolve's lack of contact, we dropped to a 2. We have been holding off on a response to make sure what we provide is clear and accurate. Overall, I will rate our stay a 3. There were a number of concerns once we arrived. * Heavy rain from the previous two days made one route to the house impossible. It would have been nice to have an email stating the condition and how to get there. This wasn't critical, but would have been nice. * After inspection of the rooms, we found the bathrooms and kitchen very dirty. Hair on the floor and in shower, bathmats were visibly dirty, toothpaste in the sink, splatter on the mirrors, toilets had hair around the seat, the kitchen counter had dried food stuck to the surface, microwave needed to be cleaned, since had foot stuck to the sides, leftover food containers in the fridge, and fridge shelves were unclean with sticky, spilled liquid on several shelves, pots/pans/dishes needed to be washed prior to use as they had residual grease on them. We spent the first 1.5hrs cleaning and sweeping and washing the rugs. We have a few pics if you want them. * Prior to booking, we called Evolve and spoke with a gentleman about WiFi since our daughter was needing to do school work and the listing was unclear if it had wifi. We were told the instructions would be in the house. When we arrived, the book clearly stated that there was no WiFi. * Limited amount of firewood, but was able to build enough of a fire to dry out the wood we scavenged around the property. * Sent an email within first hour of arriving to the contact person stating the condition of the house, Sent an email the second day asking for more firewood. We never heard from him. * No toaster or hair dryer as stated as being included in the listing. * Due to the amount of cleaning we had to do, I feel we should be reimbursed for the $150 Cleaning Fee since that service was clearly not completed prior to our stay. On the brighter side of the stay: - Great secluded location - Beds were comfortable - Once we bailed out and dried out the fire ring, we spent most of our time at night by a nice fire - The house in general was comfortable
