Relaxing Family Fun

Everything about our trip was amazing and relaxing! We loved the beautiful drive to the cabin, the location, the view and of course, the wonderful hot tub! The cabin was beautifully decorated and we all enjoyed the games! Tic tac toe, horseshoes and corn hole while enjoying the view and the fire pit was a highlight. Definitely would love to come back! Short drive to restaurants and activities.

Amazing cabin!

The whole process was easy. The owners made check in so easy. The cabin is in the perfect location because we love being in the woods. The cabin was so clean and so much to do with indoor and outdoor games. I have severe allergies to fragrances and was so relieved this cabin had no strong smells. So clean though. The cabin is well stocked too. Beds are comfortable and it’s decorated so nice. We will definitely be back!

Awesome cabin

I’m giving it 5 stars ! Pros: Very clean, has everything you need, hot tub was very clean, it’s close to town once you get to the road haha but it’s def in the country which I loved! Long gravel road for a few miles to get there! Cons: some won’t like the off road drive to get there although I did! No Wed to wash your car before you come! Shower heads are terrible they wed an upgrade for sure! And the king bed is upstairs with no bathroom so if you pee at night it’s a trip up and down the stairs! Overall I loved it!

Enjoyed the Cabin!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was exceptionally clean, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. Its remote location added to the charm and peacefulness of the experience. However, we did find the drive to the cabin a bit challenging. The narrow, winding roads make it difficult to pass oncoming cars, especially at night, and it takes about 15 minutes to travel just a couple of miles. While this added to the feeling of being secluded, it may be something to consider for future guests. Overall, a wonderful getaway spot with lovely touches like the Starbuck coffee!!

Cozy Fall Retreat

Nestled in a peaceful setting, this cozy cabin offers a perfect retreat from the everyday hustle. With charming rustic decor, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings, it’s ideal for relaxing and reconnecting with nature. Enjoy mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee or evenings by the firepit under the stars. Great for small group escapes. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and soak up the tranquility.

Review

Cabin was wonderful! Super cute and clean just a bit hard to get to. Windy narrow dirt road only wide enough for one car, got a little tricky when you met someone on the road. House had everything you could need and more, lots of extra games and fun stuff around. Mostly private and secluded but can see and hear other nearby houses.

Everything was great for our stay. The cabin is very well stocked with cooking items and games. The travel around the lake to the cabin provides a very scenic view. Home is close to some many great spots in town.

Weekend in Blue Ridge

We stayed at the Canoeing Bear cabin for a celebration of my wife’s birthday and for Valentines Day. The cabin was perfect! Excellent location near town but feeling super remote. The drive in to the cabin on the forest service road alongside the lake was awesome. The cabin had everything we needed and was really clean. We absolutely loved the backyard with the fire pit and hot tub. Do note that if you are a firebug like myself bring your own firewood. Overall excellent weekend in a perfect environment.

Good cabin in Blue Ridge

Nicely decorated cabin, enjoyed the firepit, comfortable beds and pillows. Had a nice time hiking, white water rafting and sight seeing. Only downfall about the cabin was it could use a good dusting and there were cobwebs everywhere outside so you couldn’t use the porches or sit outside to eat. I also woke up with big spider bites. So beware of spiders around the property!
