Wonderful

My family and I loved staying at this property. It was very easy to get on the phone with the management company. Our internet was not available to use during the stay, but they did send someone out to look at it and called us offering to compensate for not being able to use it.

Loved our stay!
Had a wonderful time during our stay. Cabin was beautiful, clean and adequately stocked. Slept three adults and six girls comfortably. They loved their room with the pool table in it! Was a short drive to Gatlinburg. I would highly recommend. Only drawback is WIFI is not good but it did make for a phone free weekend. Which I think everyone needs! Will be back!
Beautiful cabin and location, overall comfortable experience. Upstairs jacuzzi tub was full of ants and could not be resolved even after exterminator paid a visit. Also, hair dryer on main level was on the fritz. Otherwise, wonderful place!

Great Cabin
We enjoyed Our Mountain Getaway for 4 nights. The hot tub was very relaxing. Our kids loved sleeping in the game room and playing pool. The cabin was very clean. My oldest son enjoyed the upstairs bedroom and was "living like a king". The porch found us sitting out there each morning with coffee enjoying the view and the changing leaves. Close to a grocery store which was convenient.
The only bummer was the fireplaces were electric, not gas and my kids could find no video games for the gaming unit. Other than that we enjoyed the cabin.

Beautiful home !
Our family of four spent a week in this home. It's got a great location up in the hills removed from town. Beautiful decking all around !The bedrooms are very comfortable & the kitchen has the dishes & pans you need to cook in. Few little things missing like oven mitts. The living room furniture is fairly uncomfortable ~ we found ourselves sitting outside more on the rocking chairs . I believe they advertised it could sleep 10 or 12 people ~ you might be able to sleep them technically, but you'd all never fit in the living room & kitchen area ! Of course for our family of four or even six or eight you'd be fine.
The cabin is beautiful. The other reviews were correct about the hot tub. It is very shallow and hard for 4 adults to fit comfortably but the location of it is nice. The satellite tv is good but the wifi is horrible so don’t plan on kids doing school work on it. We came with 2 large suburbans 4 adults 8 kids and it’s a difficult driveway for both considering it’s shared with another cabin and you can’t turn around when 3 vehicles are in it and the drive way is tricky to back down. Everything else was good. All in all we would rent it again. Just some things I would have liked to know.

Great cabin - great time!
Perfect cabin if you want peace & quiet along with a fabulous fall color view. We spent hours on the covered porch rocking away, laughing and catching up. My bro-in-law and wife took the basement suite and we had the upstairs master suite - perfect for 2 couples. Pool table for the guys & hot tub for the girls. VERY clean cabin with comfortable furnishings and well stocked kitchen. Love the idea of no smoking and no pets. Located off the beaten path and worth every twist & turn on the road.
We suggest you get the alarm code IN ADVANCE or you will get calls from the security company and a visit from the Sevierville Sheriffs office. We spent the first hour at the cabin working this out then the next four days in heaven. Don't let this one get away - book today!

Not Very Clean
The cabin is cute but it is dirty!
1. I found underwear from someone in the foot of the bed in downstairs suite. It is beyond nasty to sleep with someone else's underwear. Which see point 6, if they made the beds it would have been caught.
2. There were roach traps and a dirty diaper under the dresser in downstairs suite.
3. There is no working vacuum. The one there is broken.
4. There is dust piled up on all base trim.
5. There is mold in the main level bathroom.
6. None of the bedding is tucked in, it is all just laid on the beds so you have to make your own beds. One night of sleeping results in a mess of sheets.
7. The driveway might fit 4 smart cars. A pickup and SUV are tight and create issues for the parking for the house across the way.
8. There is no lock on the downstairs master suite. So anyone can walk in or thru. Which there is a hot tub and you have to worry about people coming down the stairs.
9. The front door is full of finger prints no one bothered to wash off. The walls in the whole place after mystery marks and stains.
10. There is cigarette ash on the table outside. Cigarette burn marks on the couches.
11. The place is generally dirty. I had to scrub dried food off the counters. My kids socks would be black after walking around. The floor in the kitchen does not get washed. We spilled on the floor and when I wiped it up the paper towel was black. The carpets are never cleaned.
Also, they should have explained that the location is through some serious uphill, downhill back roads. Some people may not be ok driving these type of roads.
I will say the cabin itself is cute. The views are amazing!! But left behind underwear and dirty diapers is just nasty! That just tells you zero effort is made to clean the place and it is by no means sanitary.
Lastly, this rental is through Jackson Mountain homes. Google them. Their ratings are NOT good! Their properties are known to be dirty. They also do not care to be helpful when you call them. You get a ton of attitude out of them, delayed response time. They are not helpful. They do have someone to respond to all negative reviews to make them look good. But that is just a PR move and nothing more. It is a good cover but they really don’t do anything beyond that behind the scenes. They can be downright rude if you call them. I will warn you if something goes wrong while you are there or any point really do not expect much!
Property was well maintained, very clean.
Kitchen supplies good, but wish they would provide more basics: dish soap, trash bags, more dish towels, drying rack, better knives that cut, baggies for putting leftovers in.
Loved the views from the two decks.
Traveled with our daughter, son-in-law and two grandchildren to the Great Smokey Mountains. This home was perfect for a group our size and had a beautiful view.
First of all, the seclusion of this property was exactly what we were looking for. That’s where the positives end. Within minutes of walking into the cabin, we found cockroaches in the empty bedroom drawers and multiple “roach motels” scattered through the basement. I messaged the rental company and they didn’t respond our entire stay. The cleaning company that services this cabin should be fired. There were toenail clippings (!!!!!!) in the carpet, roach feces clustered at the bottom of items, and sticky floors under the pool table. Our 6 year old wanted a cabin specifically for the hot tub, we were disappointed with the outdated one here. The lights inside the hot tub did not work, and by the state of the water it is NOT changed after every rental. Additionally, the fireplace in the living room wasn’t working which was a huge disappointment considering the frigid cold temperatures and snow. Overall, we were very disappointed with this rental and won’t be back.
The bathroom floors were too dirty. It had some sticky liquid all over the place. For the price we paid and additional cleaning fee one would expect the place to be clean.
The tub in the master room had ants all over. Unfortunately we weren't able to use it.
The look of the cabin is great and over all it has a nice set up.
Everything was just as expected and shown in the listing. Helpful and courteous staff.
Great cabin and location! We woke up to a beautiful (surprise) snow over looking the mountains. Due to the road conditions the office staff agreed to let us stay in a little longer until we felt safe to let our kids drive out. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!
