Welcome to Makani Moana Loft!

Part of the Kuilima East Estates community, this uniquely designed spacious loft unit comes with 1 bedroom (loft style), 2 full bathrooms and offers 851 interior square feet of space for your enjoyment. Makani Moana translates to Ocean Breeze in Hawaiian and is what truly embodies the experience guests feel while staying in this special property.

The unit sleeps two (2) guests and comes with vaulted ceilings and collapsible sliding doors, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor feel. You are provided one (1) dedicated parking stall with additional guest parking should you have visitors. The unit kitchen is fully stocked to prepare on-site meals, washer/dryer for laundry, ceiling fans in all living spaces and air conditioning should you need to cool down after a long day at the beach.

Guests have the option to stay within the gated Kuilima East Estates complex and enjoy the community pool, BBQ area, tennis court, and gazebo. Or located just a short stroll away, Turtle Bay Resort (currently under renovation) offers a selection of dining options, day spa services, helicopter tours, horseback riding, surfing lessons and world-class golf with two (2) exceptional 18-hole courses: Arnold Palmer and George Fazio.

Supplies: Each property is equipped with a starter pack of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, and trash bag. If you run out, you will need to replenish these products at your own expense.

Pet Policy: This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note: if we find an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charged an additional Non-Refundable fee of $500.00 and in some cases can be up to $1,000.00

Great Hawaiian vibe

Loved this condo! I wanted to buy it. It has such a cool Hawaiian and spiritual vibe. Great sunlight, beautiful views, and when you open the windows on both sides you get such a wonderful breeze singing right through. Loved the vaulted ceilings too.

Great Location for Exploring North Shore

We stayed for a week in November and were very impressed with the condo. It had all the items you would need to make it feel like home. Never had to use AC as the breeze was great. The pictures are a good representation of the property. Lots to see and do and within walking distance of a great beach at Turtle Bay. Only suggestion would be to upgrade the beach chairs as there was really only 1 usable.

So dirty

Very disappointed in the condition of this property that I rented for my honeymoon. There was mold all over the place. In the picture frames, on the curtains, behind the couches. There was animal droppings on the inside of the blinds. The bannisters and baseboards were dirty. There was clothes left in a hamper. Trash was still in the upstairs bathroom. A towel rack kept detaching from the upstairs bathroom. The outside of the main trash bin was dirty. This place was disgusting. Because we had travelled all day and were exhausted, we opted to stay for one night and then found a different condo. We contacted VRBO and sent them pictures of everything, they were very helpful throughout the whole situation.

Outstanding Accommodations

Incredibly beautiful condo. Self sufficient. We prepared most of our meals. A beautiful and short walk to the ocean. Can hear the ocean from the lanai that overlooks the golf course. I fear saying I highly recommend this unit as it might result in it always being booked and we won’t be able to book it in the future. We will undoubtedly return to this condo.

Lovely Lanai

We truly enjoyed the property and surrounding beaches. Love Rentals were great and really responded quickly to any questions we had. Beautiful view, nicely decorated and a great collection of books on Hawaii. Being able to watch sunrise and sunset from the same beach-magical.

Manager did not meet us upon arriving. Unit was dark and air conditioning had not been turned on. Bed was not made professionally and was not clean. Pictures were not true to life.

Lovely Relaxing time on the course

My partner and i enjoyed this property as we needed a quiet and calm place to celebrate some life accomplishments! Check in was easy though we were initially given the incorrect access code. The condo was wonderful charming and had everything we needed! The only bummer was that the coffee maker didn't work and the upstairs TV was a bit crooked/fell off it screws, but we will definitely be back! We loved this space!

Beautiful Condo with Beach Access

This condo is a perfect option for couples looking to stay on Oahu’s North shore. Great location with the beach being a short 5 minute walk across the golf course. Full kitchen and two full bathrooms. The downstairs toilet was unusable during our stay as we discovered that it had a leak, but we were given the option to either have it fixed during our stay or after we left. We were fine using the upstairs bathroom so it wasn’t really an issue. Property manager was very accommodating and responsive. House was clean and nicely furnished. Resort restaurants are within walking distance which is a huge bonus.

The property wasn't if the best of shape. I won't use Love Rentals again.

The toilet backed up and we couldn’t plunge it open. The TV didn’t work, the remote wouldn’t work, the battery compart was totally full of corrosion. The property manger wasn’t able to get to the property that day, a plumber wasn’t available. There wasn’t another property available, so we made the decision to cancel the rest of your vacation and fly home the next day.

Good location and view.

Good property and good value. Air conditioning didn’t reach upstairs bed in loft very well but had a fan. Downstairs was comfortable. Shower downstairs didn’t work . Short walk to beach. About 10 minutes.
