This idyllic setting amongst the trees and bird life is less than 200m from Lorne Beach, Erskine River, the Swing Bridge and café. This home is set in an elevated position with the most incredible views of Lorne bay and right across to the pier. Only a short walk to the main beach, shops, restaurants, day-spa & sea baths. It really is perfect for family holidays or weekend getaways with friends.
A spacious double story holiday house with a warm relaxed feel, it is modestly furnished and by no means immaculate but more affordable than many others in Lorne. It comfortably sleeps 10 guests with 4 bedrooms (Queen, Queen, 2 x singles, 2 x bunks), and 2 bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen to cook up a feast (with dishwasher, coffee machine, & second fridge for drinks). Perfect for outdoor dining, the huge deck overlooks the bay and tree tops – with a gas BBQ, large dining table, and banana lounges for just relaxing!
Two separate living areas – upstairs capturing the spectacular coastline views through the huge panoramic glass windows, with fireplace (wood supplied), stereo, and LED TV. Downstairs lounge is the kids haven, with flat screen TV, board games, and books. Split system air cons on both levels and polished floorboards throughout.
The home comes complete with boogie boards, surf boards, and even a couple of wetsuits for you to use. Grab a board and catch some waves, cool off with a swim, go fishing on Lorne pier, kayak the waterways, or just enjoy seaside life. Then come home and experience an outdoor hot shower to freshen up!
Set amongst native gardens, with ample parking for 3 or 4 cars, including room for a boat under the carport.

La Casa del Mar is just off the Great Ocean Road near the iconic Lorne Swing Bridge, Lorne Beach, and Erskine River. Walking distance to shops, cafes, and attractions. Only a short drive to the golf course, Erskine Falls, Sheoak Falls, Cumberland River, and National Park.
Linen is not supplied, please bring your own sheets, pillowcases, towels, and don’t forget your beach towels (pillows and blankets are supplied – or if you prefer a doona then BYO). Note if you are unable to bring linen (ie. international travellers), in those instances a linen hire service can be arranged on request in advance (extra $350 all linen for up to 10 guests).
We ask that you leave the property clean and tidy on departure.
7 night minimum from 26 Dec to 31 Jan. 4 night minimum Easter. 3 night minimum on long weekends. 2 night minimum all other times.
*Strictly no parties. No Schoolies groups, 18th, 21st, hens, bucks or other all-male groups (additional bond, fees, and rules apply to high risk bookings).
*Tax applied to the booking is the Victorian state government’s new Short Stay Levy, charged on Holiday Rentals properties.
No parties or events. No music outside. No additional sound equipment (DJ, PA etc). No excessive noise after 10pm. Please respect the neighbours - complaint calls from neighbours incur fees and may result in eviction. No high-risk groups such as schoolies, hens, bucks, footy trips or other all-male groups. Children need to be supervised.
Leave the property clean on departure, close to the way you found it as is standard with most holiday rentals (dishes, benches, rubbish, floors etc).
