Stunning mountain and Lake views

This home is lovely! Master bedroom wing, guest room wing, and an open floor plan shared area with stunning mountain and lake views. Nice kitchen- I baked a chicken dinner easily for my guests. Bracken Mountain Bakery in Brevard is stellar for coffee and pastries. Vescovo provided one of the best food and cocktails I have ever had! 15 minute drive to downtown. Believe the warning on the driveway! It is steep and narrow.

Family time

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location was quiet and comfortable. It was easy to get around even for our father who is advanced in age. The home was stocked well to afford us the ability to cook all our meals, and all of the furniture was comfortable for sleeping and relaxing (exception dining chairs). We picked the best of all days to stay, the colors were gorgeous.One hiccup, the kitchen trash was full of the prior parties food trash, but we worked it out with the housekeeper to remove the trash at the end of our stay. The housekeeper was easy to contact.Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Pictures don’t do it justice !

This was probably one of the best homes that I have stayed in. We came for the fall colors and wow, just wow. The minute you walk in the door the view from the living room is just beyond words. House was clean, fully stocked, beds were super comfortable, everything was just perfect and staying in Connestee Falls was an extra bonus. They have everything that you could ask for. Hiking trails, Pickleball, tennis, Clubhouse, and more. We even went to a buffet and a trivia night right in the community. We will definitely be back.

Mattresses too soft

The house is beautiful. Wonderful views despite windows in need of cleaning inside and outside, including buggy and dusty window sills. Dining chairs very uncomfortable. MUST have all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle even in good weather to egress driveway. Window treatments insufficient for bright sun in great room and no room darkening in bedrooms for nighttime. Some windows had no privacy and others can look inside master bath and bedroom from front porch. I wanted to like this house but there were too many issues for me to rebook this property or recommend to interested friends and family. This COULD be a great rental with some adjustments.

Spacious, enjoyed the views

Our family of 5 enjoyed this property. The lay out allowed everyone to have their own personal space. The house was well equipped for cooking and doing laundry on site. The driveway is narrow but my Yukon XL did just fine. I would recommend this property if you are looking for something in this area.

Great house, plenty of space

Overall a great place to stay, good summer view that would be even better in winter, plenty of room, split plan, nice fireplace, but tight steep driveway that others may not enjoy. I do wish the house had a covered(rain) and screened(bugs) porch.

Perfect view!

This home has the most beautiful view!!! Especially when we were there at the peak of the leaves changing! The home is lovely and comfortable on the inside too. The only issue that was not a 5 star was the cleanliness. Dusting off some cobwebs, vacuuming in the den area, wiping food off the dinner table, and getting towels/wash rags out of the drier (didn’t find them until day 2) are the things they can do much better on. Once the cleanliness is perfected this is absolutely the perfect place to stay!

When we finally arrived (poor directions)we found the house setting wonderful. Most beautiful & scenic place we’ve stayed in Brevard/Rosman area. House has 2 separate wings with common living/dining area & kitchen. One wing has 2 bedrooms (queen/2 singles) & 1.5 baths. The other wing has a king bed & bath. Plenty of closet & dresser areas. We enjoyed our stay.

The views from every room were amazing. So many windows. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. The bathrooms had been updated and were very nice. The main area( great room and kitchen ) are in need of an update. The furniture is older and stained. As we were there for two weeks we had an issue with trash. There was only one receptacle and with no disposal the trash accumulated. A beautiful setting with incredible views.

Beautiful home, great neighborhood

The house features a large window in the living room overlooking a lake, from which the sunset view is spectacular. Within the community there's golf, tennis, pickleball, a lake for swimming and boating, and a beautiful pool. Nearby, all the wonders of Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Park. We loved our time here.

Priceless View

This beautiful place offered the rest and peace we needed as “we lifted our eyes to the hills” and enjoyed the porch during the day and evenings. It was hard to leave but we hope to return again to this beautiful place.

Wonderful Getaway

My wife and I spent 4 great days at the house (and the Brevard area)... out first "vacation" in almost 2 years. The house was exactly as advertised. Very clean and inviting. The location, on the side of a mountain, was peaceful and suited our wish for comfort and relaxation. And the view from the giant windows and the decks were fabulous. Our 4 days went by too fast! The one caution is the driveway - which is very steep and (in places) narrow. We would also caution that after dark there are no street lights and negotiating the streets (all named in Native American words) was somewhat challenging. We recommend this property - and give it our highest marks.

Nice house!

House was much more spacious esp family/living room & the view was more impressive than the photos show. Very relaxing, clean home. The floor plan would work well for a family of 4 with another couple, like grandparents. We really enjoyed downtown Brevard which was an easy drive & lots to do within 30 minutes- hiking to waterfalls, horseback riding.

Beautiful view and house

My family stayed here for a week in July and had a wonderful stay. The view was gorgeous, I could never get tired of that view. There were almost daily showers but it never dampened our spirit. We went hiking in DuPont State Park and went fly fishing over in Pisgah National Forest. The breweries and restaurants were great in nearby Brevard. Then the house was wonderful. It had everything we needed. The master suite was very comfortable for my wife and I. The other bedrooms were great for the rest of the family. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, and pans unlike some other places we have rented before. The view from the living room was wonderful as I mentioned before. We watched some things on the huge TV but I kept finding myself looking back at the view. We will definitely be staying here again. Thanks!

Gorgeous views

We stayed at this beautiful mountain home in July. The views are amazing from either of 2 outside decks or the family room. The home has a great setup with 2 wings so the master is on one side of the house and the other 2 bedrooms are on the other. This was perfect for us with kids. My only complaint is that I felt the house should have been cleaner and upon check out I did alert the contact person and she said that she will schedule a deep cleaning. The driveway is super steep, but after a few times up and down we had no problems navigating it. The whole community is built in the mountains so the roads are very steep and curvy throughout. We did get to enjoy the pool a few times, but we did not get to enjoy all that the community has to offer. The home is close to both Dupont, Pisgah, and downtown Brevard making it a great location. We would love to stay here again.
