Welcome to Black Bear Cabin located in the beautiful, gated community of Beach O Pines in Grand Bend ON. Nestled between Grand Bend and the Pinery Provincial Park, this recently renovated 3-bedroom, 1 bath property is a 2-minute walk to a private white sand beach. Amenities include: Firepit, WIFI, cable TV, natural gas BBQ, two decks, and A/C.
Conditions: One well behaved dog (pet fee applies), mature adults (25+) and families only, non-smoking.

Great beach location.

Great location. Close to the beach and just a few minutes drive to main stree in Grand Bend. The kids really enjoyed the beach.

Beautiful and Relaxing Place

The property is exacting as presented on VRBO. It was very clean and nicely appointed. We had a lot of rain so we didn't get to use the outdoor furniture during our stay. The neighbour is beautiful and a very short walk to the beach. Thanks for letting us use your property.

Great Beach Vacation

The cottage was great! Cottage was one short block away from the lake. It was perfect size for the 4 of us. Loved the beach chairs. Close to everything- downtown Grand bend, restaurants and shopping. Looking forward to our second week of renting later this summer!!

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is comfortable and the light filters through the many windows giving it a light airy feel. Steps away from a beautiful beach. BBQ on the deck at the back and great fire pit at the front of the property. Quiet neighbourhood. Great experience!

Decent

We enjoyed our stay. close to town and a very short walk to the beach (lovely sunsets). The overall presentation of the cottage was good. The inside was clean but there was a musty smell when we entered the cottage that cleared when we opened the windows. The beds were not made ( at least we knew the sheets were clean). We were asked to strip the beds, empty the dishwasher and put 2 large trash bins at the road on a Sunday, when collection wasn't until Tuesday (4 mature ladies ,we chose not to move the bins).These are all minor things on an otherwise lovely weekend.

Lovely Weekend at the Black Bear Cabin

We had a great fall weekend getaway at the Black Bear Cabin in Grand Bend! It is a lovely cabin in a gated community that is directly across from a trail to the beautiful private beach. It sits back in the woods - we saw a fox and lots of deer. The home is equipped with the essentials. Ken and Rebecca were kind and responded quickly to our inquires. It is about an 8-10 minute drive into the main area of Grand Bend. We highly recommend staying at the Black Bear Cabin!

Perfect Beach Getaway

The cottage was lovely. Perfect location, very close to the beach. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and very accommodating. They provided us with everything we needed from linen, to kitchen equipment and even a wagon to pull our stuff to the beach.

Charming Cabin in the Woods by the Water

We enjoyed an amazing weekend at Grand Bend in the shoulder season. We shared a cabin with another couple. The living area is spacious and everything is updated. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a gas barbecue on the deck. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and around the fire pit. We hiked, swam and visited friends in the area. The beach is beautiful. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Check-in was a breeze.

COTTAGE REVIEW

The cottage was well stocked and quite pretty inside. Beds were comfortable and furniture was nice. Only 2 issues. One was the shower. It is way too small and difficult to maneuver. Needs to be enlarged. Walk to beach was not accessible to anybody with any type of disability. I have arthritis and could not get down to the private beach. Otherwise, it was a great cottage and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Lovely Spot

We enjoyed a restful week here. This charming, air-conditioned cottage has everything you need. The neighbourhood is first-rate and very peaceful. A quick stroll and you're at the beach. The hosts are terrific and promptly respond to any questions. A lovely spot for a summer getaway.

Great property and amazing location!

We stayed for a week. The cottage was clean, beds very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, everything was functioning. Loved the fire pit and the magic powder packets that turned flames into beautiful colours! Easy access to beautiful beach, friendly neighbours. Super quiet. We had a very relaxing time and would recommend this property.

Wonderful experience

We loved our stay at this property! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect neighbourhood - it was a nice, easy walk to the beach and had a very private and relaxing atmosphere. Ken and Rebecca were excellent hosts and were very responsive to our questions. We had a wonderful time and would love to return!
