Barefoot Bungalow is a beach retreat located just 1.5 blocks from the sparkling clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

The living area is furnished with a cozy sectional, along with a large flat screen TV mounted on the wall. The kitchen area includes an island with several seats for quick dining. The main dining area has a table with four chairs and a long bench on one side. A second living room features a flat-screen TV and a separate screened lanai is a peaceful relaxtion spot.

The master bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom. Guest rooms include a queen bed with direct access to the pool deck and a room with two twin beds. Each bedroom includes crisp linens with plush towels in the bathrooms from our professional linen service. Your guests will stay connected with complimentary WIFI and enjoy all of the comforts of home, including a washer and dryer.

The private heated pool is screened in and surrounded by lounge chairs and a tiki bar. Relax in a pool lounger and enjoy the island breezes of paradise. Guests may dine al fresco on the patio deck and wnjoy a meal from the grill.
The covered poolside patio area hosts a dining table for six for guests to enjoy a meal from the grill.

Barefoot Bungalow is a dog friendly home! If you have added a pet to your reservation under the number of pets, the fee of $150 per dog plus tax has been added to your reservation total. Please note, there is a 2 dog limit.

Barefoot Bungalow is easy walking distance to the free island trolley, which travels the entire length of the 7 miles of the island. Hop on and off at your leisure and explore shopping, dining and the beaches. The perfect location for your next beach vacation!

Beautiful Home with anything a family would need!

This is a beautifully maintained home with a lot to offer! Many included beach accessories that we had no idea were included in the home, including two beach kayaks and paddles on the north side of the house in the backyard. Plenty of chairs and even beach tables included, which were easy to haul with the provided wagon. We had brought our own wagon with us just in case, and ended up only using it a few times. There's plenty of games and a large wooden Jenga tower set tucked away in the storage / laundry closet too. The covered pool was a blast, especially after we noticed how many tiny little lizards there were along the property. There was a pretty large, several foot long black snake that we found living near the property (along the northern side of the yard by the gravel driveway) but we left it alone and it didn't bother us either. The provided beach tent (Ozark Trails - a Walmart brand I believe) has seen better days, it should still last for a few weeks after us but the metal frame is beginning to break in one spot. A new one definitely wouldn't hurt! Overall we loved the place, it is absolutely beautiful and perfect for families! I'd say if the owner adds a pullout sleeper couch or two instead of the ones currently inside, this would fit a lot more sleepers in it and it'd remain extremely comfortable! Thank you so much for all of your help, and we'll definitely look into booking with you and your home again!

Really enjoyed our stay very welcoming home with everything you need from the pool to the beach chairs umbrella's wagon and the best part was a short walk to the beach we enjoyed everything would rent this house again thanks for a great stay.

Perfect stay

Charming ranch redone with retro character. Home has several different areas to spread out and enjoy. Pool and outdoor areas are super! Close to Beach-quiet street. Anna Maria Life is our go to-great company with great hosts and amazing properties.

Perfection

We had the absolute best time here. This house exceeded all of our expectations! It had everything you need and more. A quick walk to the beach, private quiet backyard, and the alarms on the doors gave us peace of mind with our kids. I think the screened in porch was our favorite place to hang out after a day in the sun. We will definitely be back!

Great property

We had a great time at the Barefoot Bungalow and would definitely stay again. It is a short walk to the beach and has easy access to stores and restaurants. The pool was great after a long day at the beach and we loved using all of the sitting areas. Definitely would recommend.

A nice week away in Anna Maria

Property was about as expected. Nice location in the city with a short walk to the beach. Cooler weather kept us from doing some typical Florida activities but we still got to use the pool, beach, city park etc. Property could use some updating in bathrooms but overall we were pleased with our stay. 4 adults, 2 children & our yorkie all enjoyed being in Anna Maria for a week. Would recommend renting a golf cart for travel around the island. A lot of places were walkable but some restaurants a bit further away. Definitely more beachy/relaxed feel overall on the island than compared to say Marco. Would go back.

Wonderful location with beautiful house.

Just had delay in checking in due to door code not working and having difficulty finding the correct way to get through to the manager. Problem resolved and we had a wonderful stay, enjoying the quick walk to the beach with the provided cart and chairs along with afternoon swims in the heated pool. Very well stocked and comfortable beds. Definitely recommend this home for a family vacation.

Great relaxing vacation

We had a great stay at Barefoot Bungalow. The house was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The outdoor area was awesome and we appreciated the alarms on the doors leading out to pool area that could be turned on and off as we had a 20 month old with us for part of the time. We had a few issues that came up and the office was great about taking care of them and communicating back to us. We would book through them again and will forward info for others looking to book on Anna Maria Island.

Can't drag the kids out of the pool- or the adults

So you bring a couple kids to the beach and all they want to do is hang out in the pool- which is great. Having a screened enclosure makes the pool bug and debris free! This isn't a luxury house, but it is very comfortable, well appointed, and has a great location for those of us who are inclined to head to the beach. We will come back!

Family fun

This location was so close to the beach, house was so pleasantly decorated and welcoming . There was nothing it didn’t have. Pool was so inviting after day at the beach. Beach chairs and wagon added bonus. Nice location on island to go to bean point or to bridge street. Thanks for sharing your home

Love at First Sight

The beautiful landscape, gorgeous trees and of course the welcoming purple rockers welcome you before entering this gorgeous home. Layout is open and functional. We enjoy cooking all our meals and the kitchen was “better than” well-equipped. Lush, private backyard, screened in pool area and screened in porch what else do you want? Beds are very comfy! The icing on the cake the short short walk to beach access, at the end of the street. The neighborhood is perfect for walking which we enjoyed with our Tucky day and night. Anna Maria Life is the Absolute Best, quick to answer any calls or e-mails. We love our home state Kentucky but we welcomed this house and Anna Maria with open arms. Hope to return next Jan or Feb. The house was very user friendly. Nice location, walking to the beach every day. Trolly half block away. Not much traffic. Pool was cool because of the air temperature, but so was the gulf. We really enjoyed the stay and would come back in a heartbeat. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants an easy access house. Peace and quiet, relaxing home. It truly was a vacation!

Wonderful home

This house has it all. Super clean. Plenty of space to accomodate families. Great decorations. Heated pool was warm and inviting. Only thing missing were floats to use in the pool. Beach chairs and wagon provided and super easy walk to public beach access. Central Island location made it easy to get to beach and restaurants. Shout out to Small Town Creamery & Waterfront. Best burger I have a had in Long time at Duffy's pub (cash only). I really hate to tell everyone how great this house is because selfishly want to keep it for ourselves. Can go wrong with this one.

Love this house

We've been coming to this house for a few years and it gets better every year. Love the new sectional, pool area and how close it is to the beach. The home is extremely well kept and even after evacuating for Hurricane Ian , we were able to return quickly to enjoy our vacation. Thanks to everyone who helped with that. We are already booked for next year!

Fabulous Rental!

If I could give more stars, I would. This is a fabulous rental! Decor is beautiful, well-stocked kitchen, great pool! Communication with owner was great also. We have been coming to Anna Maria Island for 10 years and this was by far the best house we have ever rented. We will be coming back!!!
