getaway
Pool was full of kids, not much green space for activities because other families took it. Weather was HOT, so couldn't use tennis courts (we prefer Pickleball anyway), not much in the way for food on the resort. Glad we had a small kitchen unit.

Great Rooms!
The rooms are comfortable and close to several resort amenities. The low-pressure showers were unexpected, but were a minor inconvenience compared to everything else the rooms offered.

Good
The villa was good enough for what we needed, just a place to sleep and eat breakfast. The amenities at the resort are nice but some of the things required payment because the Villas are not part of the hotel. The room is a little dated and could use some touch ups but overall not horrible.

Fun Staycation
We really enjoyed our staycation at the Zermatt Villas. This unit was absolutely perfect for us to stay safe indoors with each other. Plenty of room to read, play board games, watch TV, have hot cocoa and watch the snow fall and catch up on life. We also really appreciated having the kitchen to cook meals in. Easy check-in and out and very clean!

Nice, but a few problems that were not resolved.
Nice place, clean, lots to do with swimming, hot tub, mini golf. We wish they would turn the tennis courts to pickle ball - much more popular. I was a bit disappointed that one of the TV's was broken when we arrived,

won't stay again
Would have enjoyed a more updated villa. The couch was stained, and the comforter in the master bedroom had blood stains. There was also a smell of urine in that room. The jetted tub was dirty when we arrived, and we were only provided one kitchen towel and dishcloth for a one week stay. The vacuum in the closet is broken so clean up was hard.

Great villa but needs maintenance
Our family stayed two nights in the villa and really enjoyed our time. It was nice to have separate bedrooms and bathrooms for the kids, as well as a full kitchen and living room. However, there were several maintenance issues. The microwave hood fell down the first time we used it; the door to the master bathroom didn't close unless we locked it; the jets in the tub were not working, the curtains in the master bedroom were coming down, etc. None of these issues was enough to disrupt our stay too much, but they were noticeable. We would stay at Zermatt again, but likely would select a different unit.

Poor
What a disappointment. Our reservation was from Thursday until Sunday, but we left the day after we arrived (left on Friday). We were there for a combination of my birthday and our wedding anniversary. This was literally the first family vacation we have ever taken in the 8 years since our family began. I was excited to teach my kids how to swim and have a great time. The disappointment started as soon as we arrived. First, it was hard to find our room, as there were no signs posted anywhere about which building we should be in. As soon as we walked into the building, it smelled so old and it was run down. We got to our room just hoping and praying that it would be better. It wasn't. It was so old and outdated! What a surprise, considering how much money we spent on it! The room was old, it smelled dusty and musty, the furniture was from the 80's and the carpet was a dirty green. It was so gross that I felt uncomfortable putting my baby down, so we didn't. We held her the whole time. We stayed the night because we hoped that the pool would make the trip worth it. We were so excited to teach our kids how to swim. We went to the pool the next morning. There were so many bugs and hairs in the water, it was disgusting! It was supposed to be a heated pool, but it was barely luke warm, my kids were still freezing (actually shaking). There was a water hose in the water, which we're assuming was to keep the water up to level, but it was spouting ice cold water. The tunnel which leads from the indoor to outdoor pool was crumbling and falling apart. The pieces were falling right into the pool. And somehow I was attacked by a bunch of ants next to the hot tub INDOORS. The only ice machine was on the other side of the building, 3 ice stations down from where our room was. We were so disappointed in the poor state of the hotel that we left after showering. What a waste. Fortunately, we were able to go home, as we couldn't afford to travel far. We had to put this trip on a credit card, and now we have to make payments for sitting at home all weekend instead. We also got the package that came with $250 worth of free activities which turned out to be $250 worth of free nothing. Most of the activities offered weren't even available this time of year, and the rest weren't kid friendly. I would never recommend this hotel or this rental property. Clearly the owner is only in it for the money, not for the customer service or experiences that we might have had. I'm so disappointed in how everything went. I mean, how disappointed would someone have to be to pay almost $1,000 dollars for a 4 day trip and end up leaving after one night? That's pretty bad.

Exactly what we were looking for
My colleagues and I were in town for a conference at the Zermatt. This place was perfectly priced for our nonprofit company. The rooms were clean upon arrival. Everything worked out great. The only downside was the second bathroom's tub drained extremely slowly.

Overall a good stay with family.
Most aspects were positive. The couch bed was pretty uncomfortable. You could feel all of the springs. There was a clump of hair in the bottom of the shower. Other than that it was enjoyable.
